Frequently asked questions

How to add a new satellite?

Refer to a current Satellite Television Guide, locate the satellite channel chart pages. Move the dish to a programmed, known satellite nearest to the desired new satellite. Turn off parental control and put the receiver in program mode. Turn on channel scan and auto tune. Use east or west keys to line the dish up on the new satellite. After finding the signal, enter the 2-part alphanumeric name of the satellite. Press enter and the receiver will fine tune the satellite position.

What does "Auto-Skew" and "Auto-ANT." mean?

These are messages that flash on the screen when the receiver is fine tuning the satellite position. The flashing stops once the process is complete.

How to delete a satellite?

Turn off parental control, put the receiver in program mode and press C-SAT(or Ku-SAT) key. Press cancel to open satellite memory list. Use east or west keys to select the satellite you want to delete and press cancel again. Put the receiver back in auto mode.

What is the purpose of "Satellite Memory Realignment" function?

It allows you to realign your dish to match the already stored satellite positions without having to reprogram or fine tune all of the satellites individually. You should use it only if all of your satellites are misaligned in the same direction(east or west) and by the same amount.
