About this Guide
To troubleshoot Quest solution issues, you rarely have to contact Quest Support to get
assistance; you can resolve most problems yourself using the Debug log.
Each Extension contains a “Logs” sub-directory, where you can find a Debug log containing
tracking information showing you the Extension flow.
This document describes how to access the Debug Log.
Accessing the Debug Log
There are two ways to access the Debug Log: either from the Configuration Tool or from the
Explorer.

1. Start the Configuration Tool.
2. Right-click the Extension and select Show log.

1. Open the Explorer.
2. Navigate to C:Program Files\eXc Software\WMI Providers\nonWindows\Virtual
Agent Library\MOM\<Extension>\Logs
