Could you give me a ballpark of number of units & number of orders in past 2-4 years? For example 2010 was 200 units ordered in a total of 10 orders for a total of $ 15,000 Depending on the past will help determine how would answer some of the questions asked on bid form. Bali blinds are priced based on quantities ordered (more or less than 15 units in a single order) or total square footage (more or less than 300 sq ft. in a single order), I will put details in the bid form. Also, on the bid form it asks about web pricing & ordering options the answers you provide will help us determine if web options can be made available. (See Section 4.6). Per Section 5.4, “The Contractor must forward all department orders to the manufacturer within two business days of Department issuance of a purchase order, or a “release” against a blanket purchase order. The contractor may be required to provide evidence to the Department that this requirement for order placement has been met, by providing an order acknowledgement from the manufacturer.” Therefore, orders may not be held by Contractor until you have 15 units or 300 square feet. A2: Please reference Section 3.8 Method of Award (3.8.1). “…award will be made on the specified manufacturer’s products to match existing products for repair and remodel work in campus buildings. Alternate products to be used for new installations, if deemed equivalent by the University, may be awarded as additional product groupings.”. Q3: Also 5.6 on returning items ordered in error. If it is your error and not mine are you expecting to return them no charge? A3: Per section 5.6, “Bidder should indicate in detail on the Bidder Response Sheet their company’s return policy.”
