Manual bypass
The external manual bypass unit serves to connect the UPS, e.g. for maintenance purposes
with simultaneous continued uninterruptible supply for the connected consumers. As well as
pure bypass operation, it is also possible to set an additional switch for UPS trial operation.

PDB box (parallel control panel, distribution, bypass)
To increase availability (active redundancy) or even increase the UPS performance, the compact
parallel control panel allows the possibility of coupling up to 3 UPS systems. An integrated feed
and output field offers unlimited potential to expand without converting the existing low-voltage
main distribution board. For maintenance purposes, there is also an integrated manual bypass
unit available.
The parallel control panel is available for the following product types:

Relay card
The relay card in slot-in design for the UPS series PROTECT B./C./1./1.M displays collective fault
signals through volt free contacts, including power fail, WR and bypass operation.
SNMP (PRO) adapter
The SNMP adapter allows UPS systems to be supervised via Web or WAP.
A graduated shutdown of all relevant servers on the network is possible if necessary.
Through the Wake-up-on-LAN, the server can also be restarted.
This means that automatic SHUTDOWN and REBOOT of the system is possible.
As well as these features on the adapter, the UPS can also be supervised through integrated
SNMP agent by network management software, such as HP-OpenView, SunNetManger or
another NMS. The PRO variation of the SNMP adapter also allows incorporation of the access
control of the room, air conditioning and a smoke and fire alarm. In addition, temperatures
and air humidity can be measured by using a special environment manager and be processed
in the SNMP PRO adapter.
Load switch
This compact module as a supplement to the SNMP PRO adapter allows intelligent load
management through the UPS monitor, web browser or network management software
for UPS systems.
Temperature sensor
The digital temperature sensor is directly connected to the SNMP PRO adapter.
The sensor is mainly used in server cabinets or to supervise rooms.
The installation and configuration are both user-friendly.
