V FIRST AID
EYE EXPOSURE: Flush eyes with gentle stream of clean water for 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower lids
occasionally while flushing. Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
SKIN EXPOSURE: Remove contaminated clothing and wash all exposed skin surfaces thoroughly with soap and
water. If irritation develops, see a physician.
INGESTION: If person is conscious give large amount of water. Induce vomiting, if medical attention is not
immediately available. Get medical attention. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing
person.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If effects occur, consult physician immediately.
SYMPTOMS of OVEREXPOSURE: May irritate eyes, nose, throat and skin.
VI HEALTH HAZARD DATA
INHALATION: Spray mist may irritate nose , throat, and lungs. When used in combination with pesticides, follow
all
label precautions for pesticides used.
Ingestion:. LD50 (Rat): 1000 Mg/Kg (anhydrous calcium chloride).
SKIN; May cause skin irritation. Under prolonged contact superficial burns may result. Contact with abraded skin
or cuts can cause necrosis.
EYES: May irritate or burn eyes.
VII REACTIVITY
Stable under normal storage conditions.
Materials to avoid: Most common metals. Will slowly corrode brass and aluminum. Wash metal sprayer parts
after use. Sulfuric acid will react to produce hydrogen chloride. Methyl vinyl ether will cause a runaway
polymerization. Zinc (as with galvanized iron) will yield hydrogen gas which can be explosive.
Conditions to avoid. None.

Solution is damaging to leather.
Safety glasses with side shields or goggles. Do not wear contact lenses while handling.
