vSphere 5 Update 2 is not supported on NEC Express5800/ft series at the moment. Please do not
install vSphere 5 Update 2.
There is a limitation on vRAM capacity on VMware vSphere 5 licensing. Refer to the VMware web site

Supported Guest OS
Guest Operating Systems supported on NEC Express5800/ft series are the same as other general purpose
servers. Refer to the VMware web site for the Supported Guest Operating Systems on VMware vSphere
ESXi 5 and ESXi 5 U1.
VMware vSphere Client
For maintenance of VMware ESX on the NEC Express5800/ft series, a dedicated terminal (e.g. a Windows
PC) is required
