Cobra Electronics 29 LTD SE is a CB radio with 40 channels, full 4 Watts AM RF Power Output, SWR Calibration Meter, Talk Back, Instant Channel 9, Delta Tune, Switchable Automatic Noise Limiter & Noise Blanker, Adjustable Dynamike® Boost, RF Gain, and a 9 Ft. Mic Cord. It can be used for communication in a variety of situations, including on the road, at home, or in the office. The Cobra 29 LTD SE also has a PA (Public Address) feature that allows you to use it as a public address system.

The transceiver is usually mounted to the underside of the dash with the microphone bracket beside it.

Select channel 20, switch to the CAL position, push and hold the mic button, and adjust the SWR CAL knob so the meter needle swings to the CAL ▼ mark on the meter.

The RF Gain is used to optimize reception in strong or weak signal areas. Rotate the RF Gain knob counterclockwise to reduce gain in strong signal areas. In weak signal areas turn clockwise to increase gain.

Set the CB/PA switch to the PA position, connect an external PA speaker to the PA jack on the rear panel, push and hold the microphone button, and speak in a normal voice.

To achieve the Desired Squelch Setting (DSS), turn the Squelch control counterclockwise until you hear noise. Now turn the control clockwise just until the noise stops.
