OVERVIEW
The Compaq Eight-Button Easy Access Keyboards are designed for business customers who use the Internet frequently. The keyboards enable
customers to do their jobs better and faster by providing easy, immediate access to business-critical information at the touch of a button. The Compaq
Eight-Button Easy Access Keyboards are particularly ideal for commercial customers with web-enabled enterprises, Intranet or Internet users who
repeatedly access key Web sites, organizations requiring expanded functionality and ease of use, and customers who want to extend and explore
emerging technologies to enhance their competitive advantage.
Key Benefits
•
E-Commerce/Internet Advantages—Critical information can be easily and immediately accessible at the touch of a button. Users are instantly
directed to targeted Internet destinations—user productivity is increased and costs are decreased.
•
Easy Application Launch and Data Access—The Compaq Eight-Button Easy Access Keyboard is more than just an Internet keyboard. All of the
buttons can be programmed to launch user-specified applications, including their corporate Intranet site.
•
Fast Access to Valuable Business Information—The Compaq Eight-Button Easy Access Keyboard comes preprogrammed to Web sites that
contain generic business information. IT professionals can customize the buttons to suit the requirements of individual users.
•
Destination Customization—While the keyboard is shipped with several pre-programmed Web sites, a user or IT administrator can reprogram all
eight programmable keys at any time to meet the user's specific needs. Keys can be programmed to Internet destinations, applications, or files.
