The phone will automatically replace the oldest call record with the newest one.

Pick up the handset and press the store button, enter the phone number using the handset keys and press the store button again. Then press the memory location 0-9, A, B, or C. The display flashes if the memory location is occupied. Press either review button to select an empty location. The number is automatically stored.

Make sure ringer switch is set to HI. You may have too many extension phones on your line. Unplug some extension phones. Check for a dial tone. If there is no dial tone see solutions for "No dial tone".

Place the handset in the cradle on the base. Press the options button until SET OR appears. Press the > (+) button until SELECT CONTRAST appears in the display. Press the options button to show the current contrast setting. There are 5 levels of contrast, with the default set to 3. To decrease the contrast, press < (-). To increase the contrast, press > (+). Press the options button to store the contrast setting and return to the SELECT CONTRAST display.
