Step 1.
Step 1.
Lower leg sections have a wire in one end. Push a
plastic end cap onto opposite end, without the wire, as
shown. Repeat for the other three lower leg sections.
Slide hanger tubes into both
armrests of seat.

With a slight twisting motion, push wire end of a lower
leg into completely open end of upper leg (other end
is knob-shaped). Repeat for other three lower legs.

Push knob shaped end of a
leg assembly onto plastic peg
inside end of motor housing as
shown. Push down until leg
snaps in place. Repeat for
other three legs.

Do not use
the swing without the leg
braces.
To close legs for storage, first
unsnap leg braces. Then pull
the tabs under the motor
outward as shown, and move
the legs inward.
To remove legs completely,
first move legs inward, then
pull out with a twisting motion.

Line up holes in both armrests
with holes in the hanger tubes.
Put a screw through the holes,
with head of screw on inside
of the seat. Fasten screws with
an acorn nut, and tighten
securely with enclosed wrench.
The seat back
must overlap armrests, as
shown enlarged at right.
With seat facing front of swing,
push ends of both hanger tubes
into the brackets as shown.
When the metal buttons pop out
into the bracket holes, the tubes
are locked.
CHECK that the hanger tubes
are secure in brackets by
pulling firmly on them.
Step 4.
It may be necessary to spread
the legs as shown.
If your model has side-facing
metal buttons instead of forward-facing buttons at top of
hanger tubes, the side-facing
buttons must face toward the
seat as shown.

PUSH
CHECK that all legs are
securely attached to the
motor housing by pulling
firmly on them.
Open the swing legs
completely. If necessary, turn
legs to line up the dimples on
the legs with the plastic leg
braces. Snap leg braces onto
outside of legs. The plastic
pegs inside the ends of the
braces will fit into the dimples
on the legs.

To remove hanger tubes from
brackets, push metal buttons in
and pull hanger tubes out.
Attaching the Seat Belt
Step 1.
Thread the free end of the seat
belt through the belt retainer as
shown.
If holes in vinyl are not fully
open, push fasteners through
vinyl with enough force to open
the holes.

Open buckle by squeezing
sides of buckle to release.
Step 4.
Fold cover around bottom of
seat.
Step 3.
Thread belt through the buckle
as shown. CHECK to make
sure that the belt is threaded
correctly by pulling on the seat
belt. The belt should not slip
through the buckle.

Slide the pocket of the cloth
cover over the top of the seat
as shown.
Your swing will have EITHER a vinyl or cloth seat cover.
Follow the appropriate instructions below.
Vinyl Seat Cover
(on certain models):
Step 2.
Push both ends of the seat belt
through the slots in the cloth
cover, and pull the belt through.

Slide the seat wire through the
seat back loops.
Push
From the inside of the seat,
press the two plastic fasteners
through the holes in the vinyl
cover into the holes in the
plastic seat.
Slide pocket at top of vinyl
seat cover over the seat back.

Insert the end of the seat wire
through the hanger tubes as
shown. Then screw plastic nuts
on both ends of the seat wire
and tighten securely with the
enclosed wrench.

belt through the slots in the vinyl
cover, and pull the belt through.
Do not use
swing if the seat wire is not
securely attached. If seat can
recline backwards between
the hanger tubes, check the
wire assembly.

open, push ends of buckle
through vinyl with enough force
to open the slots.
Push the plastic clip under
one side of the seat as shown.
Repeat on other side.

Installing the Toy Bar

Replacement Parts
Step 1.
Be sure all parts are securely
fastened together before
using the swing.
Instructions for ordering swing parts:
Place the two beads and three
rings on the bar. The suggested
order is ring-bead-ring-beadring. (Once the toy bar is on
the tray, the order cannot be
changed.)
Step 1.
Open the seat belt. Place baby
in the seat. (If your child is very
small, you may want to use
rolled-up blankets as a prop.)
Step 2.
Snap the bar (one end at a
time) into the two “U”-shaped
holes located on the top front
of the tray. CHECK that bar is
securely attached by pulling
up on the bar.

Fasten the seat belt. Adjust
belt as needed to get a snug fit
around your child.
Do not depend on the tray alone to hold
your baby. Always secure your baby with the seat belt
when your child is in the swing.

Finished assembly will look like
illustration.
Reclining the Seat Back
The seat has two positions,
upright and reclined.
To recline the seat, first lift
the seat wire, then pull the
back of the seat downward.
For the upright position, just
pull forward on the top of the
seat.

Step 3.
Wind crank clockwise. Swing is fully wound when you hear
a clicking sound while winding.
Make sure toys are properly assembled before and during use. Do not tie other toys
or objects onto the swing toys. If child is able to
remove the toy bar from the tray, discontinue use.
Complete form below. Your swing model number MUST be
included on the form to ensure proper replacement parts.
Your model number can be found on a sticker beneath the
swing motor. Payment must accompany your order.
Step 4.
PUSH SWING SEAT TO START. BE SURE YOU PUSH IT
UP HIGH ENOUGH FOR THE MOTOR TO GET A GOOD
START.
Special features on certain models:
Some models have a “time-remaining” indicator on the right
side of the swing faceplate. After you finish winding, it will
show you the remaining swing time. It also indicates when
you need to rewind the motor.
Some models have a switch on the left side of the swing
faceplate to adjust the height of the swinging motion.
Observe the swinging motion for a minute before changing
the setting. It takes time for your swing to adjust to a new
setting.
• For a lower ride, push the control switch toward “low.”
• For a higher ride, push the control switch toward “high.”
NOTE: Seat may be stopped any time motor
is running without damaging motor. To restart,
push swing.

Installing the Toy Bar
