Frequently asked questions

Bluetooth Stereo enables a wireless connection of stereo audio between two Bluetooth Stereo devices. In order to provide a wireless Bluetooth Stereo connection between two devices, both devices must support the A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) Bluetooth profile.

Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) enables you to remote control your music player from the Jabra SPORT with functions such as Play, Pause & Skip Track (can be phone dependent).

Multiuse functionality enables you to be connected to two different devices at the same time (e.g. a mobile phone and a PC). This means that for example, you can use the same headset for both listening to music from your mobile phone and use it for Internet telephony (e.g. Skype or Google Talk) at the same time.

Bluetooth is a radio technology which means it is sensitive to objects between the headset and the device it is connected to. You should be able to have up to 10 meters (33 feet) of distance between the headset and the connected device when there are no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).

Increase the volume on the Jabra SPORT. Make sure your phone is connected to the headset by i.e. tapping the Answer/End button (A), or viewing the LED indicator.

You may have deleted the pairing connection in your mobile phone – follow the pairing instructions in ‘Pair Your Headset to a Phone or other Device ‘ section.

These features are dependent on your phone supporting them; please consult your phone’s manual for details.

Ensure that the headset is connected to your Bluetooth enabled device. Make sure that the Jabra SPORT is charged. You may have been out-of-range (10 meters) to your Bluetooth enabled device or the headset might have experienced an ESD (Electrostatic discharge) incidence. Press the Answer/End Button (A) to re-establish the Bluetooth audio link - Increase the volume on your device.
