Frequently asked questions

Refer to the vehicle manufacturer's manual to find the approved lifting points on the vehicle. Engage the emergency brake and chock each unlifted wheel in both directions to prevent accidental movement. Center the jack saddle underneath the lift point and pump the handle until the load reaches the desired height. Immediately transfer the load to appropriately rated jack stands. To lower the load, slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise. The more you turn the handle, the faster the load will come down. Maintain control of the lowering speed at all times.

Use only Mobil DTE 13M or equivalent hydraulic jack oil. Improper fluid can cause premature failure of the jack and the potential for sudden and immediate loss of load.

The correct oil level allows the saddle to reach its advertised maximum height and its advertised minimum height. Too much oil will not allow the saddle to lower completely. Too little oil will not allow the saddle to raise completely.

For optimal performance and longevity, replace the complete fluid supply at least once per year.
