Frequently asked questions

4 poles are included with the tent.

The tent comes with a tent body, 4 poles, a stake bag with stakes, a tent fly, a fly rod, a carry bag, 2 hood rods, and a pole bag.

First, lay out the tent body on the ground. Then, assemble the poles and insert them into the spider. Next, connect the clips to the frame and stake out the tent through the corner rings. Finally, lay out the fly on the ground, insert the ends of the fly rod into the web pockets on the sides of the fly, and fasten the hook and loop strap around the center of the rod.

First, pull up the stakes. Then, release the fly's Velcro and buckles. Remove the fly and take out the rod. Next, remove the clips from the poles and pull the posts off of the pins. Finally, collapse the tent poles/rod and stow them away.

To help prevent condensation, keep the doors and windows open. Tuck the window fabric into its pouch at the bottom of the window.

In sand, use long, broad stakes with plenty of surface area. In hard, rocky, or frozen soil, use steel stakes. In snow, use "dead man" anchors.

Features that enhance ventilation in the tent include windows, short-sheeted flies (bottom venting), roof vents, and High/Low venting doors.
