HOW TRIM VIDEO IN WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER If you do not already have Windows Movie Maker on your computer, you can download it from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker-get-started . Follow the instructions on the screen to install the program. 1. Launch Movie Maker. Click on Add videos and photos. 2. Locate your video clip and click on Open. 3. Move the controller in the preview screen (or the indicator on the storyboard) to the location where you want your video clip to start. 4. Click on Video Tools. Click on Set start point. 5. Use the controller in the preview screen (or the indicator on the storyboard) to locate where you want your video to end. Use the timer to make sure your video clip does not exceed the requirement. 6. Click on Video Tools. Click on Set end point. Note: You may want to preview your clip to make sure you have set the correct start and end points. Make adjustments as needed. 7. Click on Home. Click on Save Movie. 8. Click on Windows Phone (small). 9. Enter a file name. For edTPA candidates: Name your video clip according the requirements listed in your edTPA handbook. Click on Save. 10. Click on Open folder. 11. Locate your video clip. Make sure the file size is less than 500MB. (To see the file size, right click on the file icon and select Properties.)
