Frequently asked questions
To adjust the cutting height, pull the height adjusting latch outward towards the wheel and move to the desired notch. The highest cutting position is Notch 6; the lowest cutting position is Notch 1.
For best recycling results, cut up to a maximum of 1" from grass and recycle ONLY when grass is dry. Set all wheels in the highest cutting position, move the engine speed control lever to the "FAST" position, move the ground speed control lever to the lowest setting, and proceed mowing slowly.
The front of this cutting deck has been cut out to allow the blade to have more direct contact with the grass. The adjustable baffle should be secured in the highest position to provide a crisp, high quality of cut when mowing.. If mower does not give a satisfactory cut, then repeat steps A thru C until correct cut is achieved.
