It greets callers with a personalized announcement, allowing them to leave messages after the beep. The system can store up to 2 minutes of announcement and has a memory capacity for 9 different phone numbers, each with up to 18 digits. Frequently asked questions

Follow the steps in the 'Installation' section of the user manual. You need to install batteries, set the DIAL MODE switch, connect the handset cord, line cord, and power cord.

Prepare your announcement, press CHANGE and then ANNC. The system will beep and begin recording. Speak into the microphone. Press STOP when finished. The system will play back your announcement.

Dial your phone number from a touch-tone phone. Enter your Remote Access code. The system will announce the number of messages and beep twice. You can then press 7 to play all messages or 6 to play only new messages.

When memory is full, the system will answer calls after 10 rings and present 2 beeps instead of your announcement. You will need to delete some messages to make room for new ones.

A caller can use Priority Calling by pressing 30 on their touchtone phone when the system answers. The system will then beep loudly to alert you to the priority call.

Toll Saver allows the system to answer calls on the second ring when new messages have been received, but on the fourth ring when there are no new messages. This can help you avoid paying for long-distance calls when checking messages.
