Connect the VCR to the TV using either the S-Video or Video connection and audio connection, depending on your VCR's capabilities. You can also connect the VCR to the TV using the ANT 2 input and selecting Channel 3 or 4 on the VCR.

Press the PIP button on the remote control to activate the PIP feature. The audio is for the Main Picture only. You can then choose channels for the PIP frame by pressing the PIP CHANNEL up/down buttons and channels for the Main Picture by pressing the CH up/down buttons or using the numeric keypad.

First, set the time and day of the week using the CLOCK SET option. Then, select TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 to set the times, channels, and days you want the TV to automatically turn on and off. The TIMER is active when the PTV is OFF or ON.

Use the LOCK feature to lock all channels, specific channels, or channels 3, 4 and video inputs. You'll need to enter a four-digit secret code to access the LOCK settings.

Select the CC MODE from the SET UP menu to choose the type of closed captioning you want to display. You can also activate the Closed Caption feature by pressing the MUTE button on the remote control.

Use the AUDIO menu to adjust the bass, treble, balance, and sound mode settings. You can also select the SPEAKERS option to use the TV's internal speakers or connect an external audio amplifier.
