CLOSE COUPLED CISTERN FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Important
Before installation, flush out debris from cistern and supply pipe. Do not use sealing compounds to seal the fittings as this will damage
plastic components. Do not use chlorine-based cleaners or related products in the cistern. Do not over tighten plastic nuts. Backnuts
should be secured hand tight and then half a turn using a suitable spanner.

Assemble the fixing screws into the cistern tank before fixing
the flush valve. Insert the gasket between the WC and the
cistern tank before securing the tank to the pan.
To adjust the height of the mechanism, release the blue lever as
shown in detail 1. Lift the mechanism to its maximum height and
insert the extra extension piece (274.600.00.1). Lock the lever as
shown in detail 2.

Adjust the overflow as shown.
NOTE: The overflow pipe must be positioned at least 2cm above
the water level, as marked inside the tank.

Position the cistern lid on top of the cistern and screw the
push-button into the mechanism. For full flush operation push
the outer button.

B POSITION OF THE VALVES IN THE CISTERN
Use only one seal inside the cistern
between the valves and the cistern. Fix
the mechanism to the cistern with the
white nut from the outside. Repeat the
same operation to fix the inlet valve.
Ensure that the inlet valve float does not touch the
inside of the cistern or the flush valve.

To extract the
mechanism for
maintenance, press the
side tabs inwards and
pull the body of the flush
valve up.
1 To adjust the amount of
water for a reduced
flush, adjust the
indicated float by
2 following the steps
indicated.

To adjust the amount of
water for a full flush,
moving the tab to the (+)
position will increase the
amount of water
discharged. To reduce
move the tab in the (-)
direction.
