How students self-register for SpringBoard Digital
and your class simultaneously:
NOTE FOR THE TEACHER: You will first need to create the class and then distribute the appropriate Class Access
Code to the students in your class. You will find the Class Access Code in the class summary section – see below for
an example:

For students who are completely new to SpringBoard and/or who do not have a pre-existing SpringBoard Digital
account:
1. Instruct your student to go to your district URL/Subdomain: [your district].springboardonline.org.
2.
Under the user name field, your student will need to click the “new to springboard?” link to create an
account.

Your student will need to enter the 6-character Class Access Code and click the continue button.

Please review the following information with your students before they fill in their account information.
Enter the following information: (Note that the 6-character (minimum) password has special
requirements)
1) Student’s first name
2) Student’s last name
3) 6+ character password (required: one capital letter + one special character + one number)
4) Confirm password by reenter the information
Click the continue button.

The following page will confirm the student’s first and last name and username. Note that the username
is automatically created for the student. Please have your student write down the information and click
the continue button.

The student’s account is now active and the landing page will reflect the class(es) he or she is enrolled in:

Since the student entered the Class Access Code for the particular class you have created, he/she is
automatically placed in that class.
If the student has another SpringBoard class, he/she can add that particular class’ Class Access Code in
the Join a Class field.
In the event that a student has already self-registered without a Class Access Code, he/she can add the
appropriate Class Access Code at any point to join a class.
