2. Description
The evōQ™ 5000 Center Channel Speaker is made of black vinyl covered MDF in a sealed wooden box-style with dual 4” Poly woofers and a single silk dome-style tweeter. The speaker wire connections on the back are spring loaded for easy installation and color-coded red and black. The full-width speaker grill is retained with six push-pins (see Figure 2). 4. Speaker
Notice in the 5.1 Home Theater example (see Figure 4) that the center channel speaker is placed above or below the TV, as close as possible to seated listening ear height. If a mesh viewing screen is used, it can be placed behind the screen.
Remember, most of the movie dialog content comes from the center channel, so it needs to be near the actor images. This example shows our angled inceiling speakers used for the other front and surround speakers.
In the 7.1 Home Theater example (see Figure 5) the center channel speaker is again placed above or below the TV (or behind the screen), as close as possible to seated listening ear height. This example shows our angled inceiling speakers used for the front speakers, while our inwall speakers are used for the surround speakers.
