Safety Instructions
1. Before getting started with the machine assembly, please read through this manual.
2. Separate all of the parts after opening the boxes and verify that all parts are accounted for and have no damage.
3. Assemble the machine on a solid level surface. This ensures the best possible performance, function, and safety for the Functional Smith Trainer and workouts.
Caution
: To avoid any injury it requires 2 persons at least to assemble this product!
Warning
It is essential that you consult with your physician before starting an exercise program.
It is very important that all warnings and instructions are read and followed before using this system.
Immediately replace any worn, torn, scratched warning labels or stickers.
It is necessary to inspect this product periodically to maintain safety and proper function.
Inspect this gym before each workout for loose or worn parts, especially the moving parts such as
the cables, pulleys and accessories,and connecting points.
Immediately replace any worn or defective parts and do not use this gym until it is repaired or replaced.

1. Attach the Rear Upright (#5) to the Rear Top Frame and the Rear Bottom Frame using:
#55 4- 3/8" x 5"L Hex Bolts

2. Attach the Pull-Up Bar Assembly (#25) to the adjustment bracket of Top Cross Beam to the desired position using:

3. Place the shaft of the Pull-Up Bar Assembly (#25) in between the Pulley Housings of Rear Top Frame as shown.

1. Hook the Weight Bar Assembly (#10) onto the Front Racks to the desired postion.
2. Slide 1 Linear Bearing Shaft (#8) into one of the Weight Holder Assemblies (#9), the shaft faces foward as shown.
3. Place a Shaft Mount (#11) onto the Bottom of the Linear Bearing Shaft assuring it is fully seated and tighten the set screws.
4. Place a Shaft Mount onto the Top of the Linear Bearing Shaft before positioning it into the Right Main Frame.
5. Gently Guide the shaft of the Weight Holder Assembly into the Weight Bar Assembly all the way in.
6. Secure the top and bottom Shaft Mounts to the Right Main Frame using:
#62 4- 3/8" x 3/4"L Hex Bolt with blue patch
#65 4- 3/8" Flat Washers
7. Sit the rod groove of Right Safety Bar (#13R) onto the Front and Rear Weight Rack Plates attached to the Right Main Frame.
Repeat the above steps installing the second Linear Shaft and Weight Holder Assembly at the Left Main Frame.

1. Loosen the pre-installed #53 3/8" x 1/2"L Cap Head Screw at the upper end of Cable Column Upright (#15) with M8 Allen Wrench or slide the Right Cable Column Slider (#16R) onto one of the Cable Column Uprights (#15) from the lower end to the desired postion by pulling out the FT Adjustment Pin (#110) without loosening the pre-installed screw.
*Secure the #53 1- 3/8" x 1/2"L Cap Head Screw in the Cable Column Upright with M8 Allen Wrench after sliding the right cable cloumn slider from the upper end of the cable column upright.
2. Attach the Cable Column Upright to the Right Main Frame using:
#58 4- 3/8" x 2 3/4"L Hex Bolts
#65 8- 3/8" Flat Washers
#69 4- 3/8" Lock Nuts
3. Assemble one of FT Swivel Pulley Assemblies (#18) to the Right Cable Column Slider using:
#54 1- 1/2" x 4 3/4"L Hex Bolt
#64 2- 1/2" Flat Washers
#68 1- 1/2" Lock Nut
Repeat the above steps to install the Left Cable Column Slider (#17L) and one of FT Swivel Pulley Assemblies to the Left Main Frame.

1. Attach 1 Weight Shroud Mount (#26) to the right side of rear bottom frame as shown using:
#59 4- 3/8" x 2 1/4"L Hex Bolts with blue patch

2. Place 2 Weight Stack Risers (#22) aligning onto the the holes of rear bottom frame as shown.
Place 1 Weight Stack Bumper (#34) onto each
Weight Stack Riser.

3. Slide the Guide Rods (#21) through each weight stack
bumper and weight stack riser into the rear bottom frame.
4. Carefully Slide 15 Weight Plates (#23) down the Guide Rods onto the Weight Stack Bumpers.
Be sure that all weight plates are facing toward fron of the machine.
Front of weight plate is indicated by recessed area for weight stack numbers.
Then slide the Top Weight Assembly (#19) down the Guide Rods onto
Weight Stack

5. Completely thread the bolt of the Top Weight Pulley Assembly (#20) and a Jam Nut (63) in the Top Weight Assembly with a Locknut on the Pulley Bolt facing towards the front of the gym.
6. Place the other 1 Weight Shroud Mount through the Guide Rods, and then loosen the set screws attached to the
the Guide Rod Collars (#33) sliding the collar onto each Guide Rod.
7. Insert the Guide Rods into the holes of rear top frame and then lift the Guide Rods up.
Put #56 2- 3/8" x 4 3/4"L Hex Bolts with #66 4- Cruved Washers through the rear bottom frame and then secure the bolts with #69 2- 3/8" Lock Nuts
8. Slide the Guide Rod Collars (#33) to the top end of the Guide Rods against the rear top frame.
Tighten down the attached set screws to the guide rod collars with M4 Allen Wrench.
9. Position the Weight Shroud Mount (#26) against the rear top frame as shown using:
#59 4- 3/8" x 2 1/4"L Hex Bolts with blue patch
#65 4- 3/8" Flat Washers
10. Insert the Weight Selector Pin (#24) into one of the holes of the Weight Stack.
Repeat the above steps to install the weight stack at the left side of rear top frame and rear bottom frame.

* Before installing the cable unlock the bolt removing the Snap Hook and the
U bracket and sliding off the Stop Ball.
After the Cable installation is completed, slide the stop ball onto the cable, next attach the U bracket to the cable end and insert the bolt through the U bracket and the snap hook.
Tighten the bolt with a Jam Nut.

After both cables are installed, press down the spring clip of the Snap Hook and hook in the 4 Ring D Handles (#39)

Start the cable routing by fully threading the bolt of the cable into the Left Cable Column
Slider.
ASSEMBLY STEPS
* Before installing the cable unlock the bolt removing the Snap Hook and the
U bracket and sliding off the Stop Ball.
After the Cable installation is completed, slide the stop ball onto the cable, next attach the U bracket to the cable end and insert the bolt through the U bracket and the snap hook.
Tighten the bolt with a Jam Nut.

After both cables are installed, press down the spring clip of the Snap Hook and hook in the D Handle / Ab Straps (#42)

Start the cable routing by fully threading the bolt of the cable into the Main Frame.
ASSEMBLY STEPS
* Before installing the cable unlock the bolt removing the Snap Hook and the
U bracket and sliding off the Stop Ball.
After the Cable installation is completed, slide the stop ball onto the cable, next attach the U bracket to the cable end and insert the bolt through the U bracket and the snap hook.
Tighten the bolt with a Jam Nut.

*Repeat the Cable installation in the left side of Rear Bottom Frame
After both cables are installed, press down the spring clip of the Snap Hooks and hook in the Low Row Bar (#30).

Attach the Weight Stack Shrouds (#32) to the Weight Shroud Mounts as shown.
