TROUBLESHOOTING

If you encounter problems with operating the Brookstone Signature™ Massage Chair, please check the following points to see if they can be rectified. If the Brookstone Signature™ Massage Chair still malfunctions or does not work, please switch off the Main Switch and remove the power plug from the electrical outlet.

Contact Inada at 303.572.5000 for service. Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the Brookstone

Signature™ Massage Chair yourself. Doing so will void the warranty and neither Brookstone nor

Inada will bear any responsibility for any subsequent consequences.

Problem Cause & Solution

The right and left rollers are out of alignment.

The rollers moved up to the top and then stopped.

The rollers stop during the massage.

The rollers are designed with an alternating tapping mechanism, so in the stopped position they are sometimes out of line. This is part of their design and there is nothing wrong with the chair.

The auto timer will cause the rollers to move up to the top of the chair when the massage time is finished, so as not to interfere with your movements when getting out of the chair.

Sometimes when there is too much pressure to the rollers, they can stop moving temporarily. Slightly lift your body or lightly raise the reclining seat back. (Persons weighing 265 lbs or more must be especially careful when using this chair.)

A clattering sound is made during a massage and the rollers vibrate a lot.

This occurs while the rollers are moving when they fall back to their original position after passing over a part of the body or fabric.

The Pause button and program buttons on the remote control flash.

The automatic shiatsu point locator is not working properly.

(The height of the rollers does not match the shoulders.)

Turn off the main power switch on the back left of the chair, and then back on after about 5 seconds.

Remote control buttons do not seem to be operating normally or the power does not turn on.

The power cord or plug is abnormally hot.

Sit further back in the chair so that your head rests firmly on the headrest. You can adjust the shoulder position with the Roller buttons immediately after the shiatsu points are located.

Check for the following:

① Is the power plug fully inserted into the wall outlet?

② Is the main power switch on the back left of the chair on?

③ Are you pressing two buttons at the same time?

Stop using immediately.

For details, contact your Inada Chair Doctor.

Anyone other than an authorized serviceperson must not repair or disassemble the chair.

24
