O 1997 Recoton Corp. All rights reserved.
All specifications subject to change without notice.
Important note for new owners.
Thank you for purchasing a Sole Control remote
control. Right now, your remote will not work
any device. You will need to install the batteries
and then program the remote control.
Installing the Batteries:
1. Onthe back of the Sole Control remote control,
push the lever up and pull off the battery
cover.
2. Install 2 "AAA" batteries, making sure the +
and - marks match the diagram inside.
3. Replace the battery cover.
4. Test batteries by holding down a device key
("TV", "VCR", "CABLE", "CD") until the green
indicator light comes on above the "Power"
key. The green indicator should come on
after approximately 3 seconds.
NOTE: If you remove the batteries for any reason,
you have 25 minutes in which to replace them. If
you wait longer than 25 minutes, the codes which
you have programmed in the remote control may
need to be reprogrammed.
Programming the Remote Control:
To program the remote, you will need to locate
the 3-digit code numbers for your device and
brand in the Code Listing. There probably is more
than one code listed because manufacturers
make more than one model of remote control.
However, one of the codes should work your
component.
It is important to know that the first code listed
isn't necessarily the one that works your com-
ponent. You may need to try more than one code.
Enter the codes into the remote until the correct
one is installed, following the instructions for TV,
VCR, Cable or CD Set-up.
The Sole Control will now replace your original
remote controls.

correct code.* If it does not, return to Step 2
and use the next 3-digit code on the list.
*If the code does not work all component func-
tions, try the next code on the list.
NOTE: If none of the codes turn off your device,
