Frequently asked questions

To pair the units, follow the instructions in the Pairing Parent and Child Unit section. Hold the Volume Down Button on the Parent Unit and press the On/Off Button. Continue to hold the Volume Down Button until you hear a single beep and all of the Sound Lights illuminate briefly. Release the Volume Down Button. Place the Nursery Unit in the same room, five feet away from the Parent Unit. Turn on the Nursery Unit using the On/Off Button on the side. The green power light should come on. Wait a few seconds for the Parent Unit to find the Nursery Unit. The Sound Lights will shut off and the Parent Unit will beep. The Parent Unit is now paired with Nursery Unit.

If you are not hearing any sound, first ensure that both the Nursery Unit and Parent Unit are turned on and that the power cords are properly plugged in. Also check that the volume is turned up on the Parent Unit. If the batteries are dead or weak, replace them or use the AC Adapter. If the Nursery Unit is covered or blocked, remove the obstruction.

To change the channel on the Nursery Unit, press the 'CH' button on the side of the unit. The Parent Unit will automatically scan all of the available channels until it locks onto the Nursery Unit. If you are still experiencing interference, press the channel button on the side of the Nursery Unit up to 6 times to find a good channel.

The blinking green light on the Parent Unit indicates that the connection to the Nursery Unit has been lost. You will also hear a continuous audible beep. Immediately move the Parent Unit closer to the Nursery Unit to regain connection.

Static sound can be caused by interference from other electrical equipment such as TVs, mixers, computers, fans, fluorescent lights, light dimmers, etc. Try to eliminate the source of the static. If the static persists, you may need to change the channel on the Nursery Unit.

The vibration alert feature notifies you when your baby makes noise, even if you're not right next to the Parent Unit. Simply turn on the vibration alert feature by setting the switch on the side of the parent unit to on. To adjust the sensitivity, press and hold the 'VIB' button. The sound lights will illuminate, indicating the vibration alert setting. Press the volume UP/DOWN switch to change the setting. A lower sound light setting will activate the vibration for quieter sounds, while a higher setting will activate it for louder sounds. Once the sound in the nursery exceeds the chosen level, the vibration alert will be triggered.
