Below you will find brief information for Commercial Receiver MVP-831E. The Allstar MVP-831E is a commercial receiver designed to work with most commercial door operators. The receiver is powered from the operator’s 24 VAC transformer. The antenna is removable and may be relocated (using coaxial cable, not included) for better RF reception. The receiver can learn the codes from up to 8 different Allstar Open/Close/Stop transmitters. The MVP-831E receiver functions as a 3-button station. Programming the receiver to accept the transmitter signal is a matter of pushing the 'LEARN' button on the receiver body and activating the transmitter.

Press and hold the Learn button until the LED turns off, then release the button. Using a programmed transmitter, press any one of the transmitter buttons (OPEN, CLOSE, or STOP). The LED will turn off when the receiver learns the transmitter code.

The MVP-831E receiver can learn codes from up to 8 different Allstar Open/Close/Stop transmitters, including MVP, Classic, and original dipswitch type models (8833-O/C/S, 8833C-O/C/S, 831, 733, 639, and/or 53S).

Connect one of the gray wires from the MVP-831E to the wire removed from the pushbutton COMMON. Connect the following wires from the MVP-831E to the operator 3-button COMMON: one orange (OPEN), one black (CLOSE), and one gray (STOP). Connect the remaining MVP-831E black wire to the CLOSE pushbutton terminal in the door operator control panel and the remaining MVP-831E orange wire to the OPEN pushbutton terminal. Finish the wiring by connecting 24 VAC to the red and white wires of the MVP-831E receiver.
