1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following.
* Do not touch hot surfaces.
e To protect against electrical shock do not immerse power cord or plugs in water or
other liquid.
* Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
* Unplug from outlet when not in use or before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts.
® Do not operate any appliances with damaged power cord or power plug. If any
malfunctions or damages are found please return the appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or service.
* Any use of accessory attachments not approved or recommended by the manufac-
ture could result in injuries. Using accessory not approved by manufacture will void
the warranty.
* Not for commercial use. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
* Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
® Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner, or in a heated oven.
* Do NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.
e Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.
e Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To discon-
nect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
e Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
e POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, then try plugin it in the other way. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
* Be careful when opening lid during cooking. Open lid away from body to allow
steam to dissipate and avoid injury.
* Do Not Cook on Broken Cook-Top - If cook-top should break; cleaning solutions and
spillovers may penetrate the broken cook-top and create a risk of electric shock.
e Clean Cook-Top with Caution — If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot
cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn, some cleaners can produce noxious
fumes if applied to a hot surface.
* Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons or lid on the glass surface
since they can get hot. Do not use any cooking utensils or pots not intended for
induction cooker.
