LectroCount LCR is an electronic register designed as an alternative to mechanical registration and calibration equipment. It features sophisticated electronics yet

Mechanical vs. Electronic
Electronic registration provides the fuel marketer a means to
improve productivity, accuracy, security and reliability without an
increase in resource cost. The LCR electronic register replaces
mechanical print registers, presets and temperature compensators. The costly downtime associated with the frequent repair of

Metering System
The LectroCount DMS works with LectroCount LCR and LCR-II
Electronic registers and all Liquid Controls PD Flowmeters. No
special software is required for LectroCount registers. The
LectroCount DMS system can be ordered with a new system or
retrofit to existing systems. Once installed and configured, up to
three metering systems can be controlled with the LectroCount
DMS allowing for simultaneous delivery from all three meters.
DMS in-cab components
The LectroCount DMS consists of three major components; the
LectroCount DMS Module, DMS Lap Pad, and DMS operating
LectroCount LCR-II Electronic Register with LC Flowmeter,
Optical Air Eliminator, and E-7 Two-Stage Valve
software. As its name suggests, LectroCount DMS is a system for
recording and managing data such as customer accounts, day-today delivery transactions, shift information, route information, and
more.
Housed in a rugged enclosure, LectroCount DMS offers a highspeed embedded computer and compact flash drive. The Lap Pad
provides an eight line by thirty character, backlit display with an
easy-to-use keyboard. This means a minimum of screens to
navigate and fewer keystrokes for operators.
LectroCount DMS Module
The software structure has been streamlined to further reduce
navigation time and keystrokes. The software consists of four
functional segments; one for setting up communications, one for
product calibration, one for making deliveries, and a system menu
used to navigate between them. Once configured, the operator
makes deliveries from a single program.
At the end of a shift, the operator can send delivery transaction
records to the home office computer using an optional RF
transmitter, or download the transactions to a USB memory device
and bring that to the office computer for upload. Software and

reverse.

Should Your Frequency Code
be Generic or Custom ?
The frequency assigned to the Off-Truck Remote Safety
Shutoff System is a security frequency of 350 MHz.
With a four-position digital system, more than 10,000
different codes can be set up in one channel (and one
more channel is available).
We strongly recommend the standard “Generic” Code.
All transmitters and receivers programmed with the
Generic Code are inter
changeable and less expensive.
But for companies desiring their own private code, we
can supply Custom Codes on special order. Custom
Code transmitters and receivers will be interchangeable
only within that company

A lock-out feature has now been added to our standard
unit. This prevents the operator from re-opening the
internal self-closing stop valve by pressing the remote
shutoff button a second time. The system must be
reset (turn the ignition switch off, then on) before the
remote shutoff device becomes activated again. All
McTier units now include this lock-out feature.

KEY FEATURES
• Receiver can be switched from the standard on-off operation for use with throttle advance operation of a
query shutoff system, or momentary remote activation of the hose reel’s electric motor.
• Receiver encloses the standard three relays and harnesses the wiring inside.
• System meets DOT’s present off-truck remote shutoff requirements — a quick push of the transmitter
left button closes the truck’s internal self-closing stop valve, and also shuts down the truck engine as
required by DOT. They remain shut, even if the button is pushed again, until the system is reactivated.
• Has an operating range of up to 300 feet.
• Is a 12-volt system — receiver, relays, and air compressor (if needed) all operate from the truck battery.
• Prevents accidental shutdown— system doesn’t operate unless the truck’s PTO is engaged.
• Battery operated remote transmitter is non-incendive and water resistant.
• Utilizes standard generic code for receivers and transmitters. Custom codes are available on special order.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
The 3200 Series Radio Controlled Off-Truck Remote Shutoff Systems
now have two channels and approximately 40% more transmitting
power (earlier systems had only one channel). This second channel
allows the optional addition to the system of one of these three
features:
1) throttle advance
the system can advance and retard the truck’s pneumatic throttle,
or
2) hose reel control
the system can control the electric motor that operates the hose
reel.

3) bulk plant pneumatic internal valve shutdown
The new receivers can be adjusted in the field for use with either
the on-and-off throttle or bulk plant relay, or the momentary type
hose reel relay. Following is a brief explanation of each feature.
THROTTLE CONTROL Option
three-way solenoid valve to be installed in the air line to the throttle
actuator, and a VAP338BR relay to be wired to the System’s
receiver. The cost of these two incremental items is small, but they
will save considerable wear on the pump and should pay for themselves within a few years.
HOSE REEL CONTROL Option
The remote hose reel control feature is designed to remotely control
the reeling out of the hose by pressing and holding down the second button on the transmitter. If the button is released, the hose
reel is stopped, and when it is pressed and held down again, the
hose reel will continue to reel out. This feature needs the addition
of the VAP338BR relay and is not designed to reel in the hose.
To remotely activate the hose reel motor to reel out requires a
special box with solenoids that temporarily reverse the polarization
of the reel motor. This feature can easily be added and installed
anytime after the initial system installation.
BULK PLANT CONTROL Option
This remote throttle control feature allows a truck driver to keep the
truck engine at idle speed while he reels out the hose to a customer’s storage container. After attaching the hose-end valve to the
filler valve and opening the valve, the driver simply presses the
throttle control button on the transmitter and the truck engine throttle advances to the pre-set engine speed for full and efficient pump
operation.
The bulk plant control option can utilize the right button on the
transmitter to activate the receiver at the bulk plant. The receiver
sends a signal that can shut down all of the pneumatically operated
valves that are installed and properly equipped for closure at the
bulk plant.
The driver fills the container to its maximum allowable filling limit,
then shuts off the hose end valve and presses the throttle control
button that brings the truck engine back to idle. The driver then disconnects the valve and rewinds the hose assembly back onto the
hose reel.
With the addition of a query relay to the system, the right button
can be pushed to reactivate the timed cycle of the query feature.
The query feature allows three minutes of operation before the signal is activated. After signal activation, the right button must be
pushed within 30 seconds or the operation is completely shutdown.
This protects against the incapacitation of the driver from heart
attacks, injury from falls, etc.
This optional remote throttle control feature can be installed when
the System is installed, or anytime later. It requires a 33P012DC
