The
Subscriber Loop Analyzer is a
microprocessor-controlled integrated
test set that provides full-featured
POTS, wideband and DSL-specific
testing. The functions include fault
location and repair verification on
twisted-pair and drop cables (utilizing
capacitance bridge, resistance bridge
and Time Domain Reflectometer
(TDR) functions).
The Dynatel 965DSP/xDSL
subscriber loop analyzer executes a
wide range of individual tests, or
performs automatic test routines to
categorize and sectionalize problems.
The hand-held 965DSP/xDSL test set
is housed in a lightweight,
ergonomically designed case for
portability and ease of handling. The
unit is weather-resistant and weighs
only 4.3 pounds (1.95 kg).

965/I Wideband Subscriber
Loop Analyzer
The Dynatel 965/I Wideband
Subscriber Loop Analyzer performs
all the tests needed to analyze and
troubleshoot subscriber loops, as
well as provide line pre-qualification
tests for basic rate ISDN service. In
addition, the 965/I wideband loop
analyzer uses combinations of these
measurements in automatic functions
called DC Line Test and AC Line
Test. In these test sequences, the
microprocessor of the 965/I loop
analyzer interprets the results of the
measurements and leads the operator
toward possible solutions to complex
cable problems.
965M/MC Subscriber Loop
Analyzer
The Dynatel 965M and 965MC
Subscriber Loop Analyzers are
microprocessor-controlled portable
instruments for measuring, diagnosing
and locating conductor faults in
telephone cables.
These lightweight, highly-accurate
weather-resistant units are used in
international applications between
the telephone exchange and the
subscriber’s premises. The 965M
and 965MC are the metric equivalent
of the 965 and are available in many
languages for international applications.

The Dynatel 945DSP Subscriber Loop
Tester is a microprocessor-controlled
test set that provides full-featured POTS
testing. The 945DSP subscriber loop
tester performs a wide range of voice
band tests to analyze problems on
twisted-pair cables. Weather-resistant
and weighing only 1 pound, the handheld 945DSP test set is housed in a
