Frequently asked questions

The control ring on the hose handle regulates the air flow. You can open the ring to reduce the suction for cleaning draperies and other light fabrics, or close it completely for maximum power.

Locate the power unit away from the living area in an accessible location for cleaning and maintenance. It should be within 6 feet of a grounded electrical outlet and not close to extreme heat sources or high ambient temperature areas. Ensure good ventilation if placed in a closet or small utility room.

To change the bag, release the latches on the sides of the unit, remove the pail, and pull down on the bag collar. To empty the debris pail, release the latches, lower the pail, dispose of the debris, and put the pail back in its place.

The secondary filter located at the top of the vacuum chamber protects the motor from dirt if the main bag or permanent filter is torn. You can clean it by brushing it or washing it in mild detergent and letting it dry completely before reinstalling.

Turn the unit off, check the overcurrent protector button on the left side of the power unit and push to reset the system. Then, turn the unit back on.
