To send a fax, place the original on the original glass or RADF, press the [FAX] button on the control panel, set the transmission conditions, specify the recipient and press [SEND].

To receive a fax, make sure the equipment is in the reception mode. The fax will then be received and printed automatically.

To create a mailbox, press the [FAX] button on the control panel, select "Mailbox" and then "Create/Modify/Delete". You can then enter a mailbox name and description. You can then store the originals to the mailbox, retrieve originals stored in the mailbox, or delete originals stored in the mailbox.

To set the transmission conditions, press the [FAX] button on the control panel, select "OPTION" and then choose the desired settings for the transmission conditions such as resolution, original mode, exposure and transmission mode, as required.

To check the status of a transmission, press the [FAX] button on the control panel, select "JOB STATUS" and then choose the desired status information from the list.
