Seat Covers

WARNING

These seat covers were designed for use on the Joovy Ergo Caboose ONLY.

Ensure the seat covers and harnesses are properly secured before placing a child into the seat.

Installing the Ergo Caboose Rear Seat Cover

• The Ergo Caboose comes equipped a basic rear seat pad.

• To install the Rear Seat Cover, first remove the basic seat pad.

• Unlatch the waist buckle by squeezing the releases on both sides of the buckle and removing the male ends of each buckle.

• Squeeze the release mechanism on the underside of the rear of the seat and flip the seat upwards.

• Locate the two Velcro® straps on the underside of the rear seat and separate them.

• Locate the crotch strap plastic ring on the underside of the rear seat and thread it through the seat and basic rear seat pad. Set the crotch strap and buckle aside.

• Pull the basic rear seat pad off of the rear seat.

NOTE: Store the basic rear seat pad properly for future use.

• Push the rear seat into the down position.

• Fit the Rear Seat Cover loosely over the rear seat.

• Thread the crotch strap’s plastic ring through the opening in the Rear Seat Cover.

• Lift up on the front of the Rear Seat Cover and thread the crotch strap’s plastic ring all the way through the opening in the center of the rear seat. Pull on the crotch strap to make sure it is secure. See Figure 1.

• Locate the waist straps and thread each of them through the opening on the back of the Rear Seat Cover. See Figure 2.

• Lift the Rear Seat Cover enough so that you can feed the four Velcro® straps, that are on the bottom of the seat cover, through the Velcro® holes in the rear seat. See Figure 1.

• Flip the rear seat into the upward position while holding the Rear Seat Cover in place.

• Pull the top and bottom Velcro® straps until the Seat Cover is secure and fasten the straps. Repeat this step with the Velcro® straps on the left and right.

• Push the rear seat downward and lock it securely into place on the tubing.

• Check to ensure that the Rear Cover pad is properly secured.

Installing the Ergo Caboose Front Seat Cover

• Remove the child tray for easier installation.

• Unbuckle the shoulder straps from the harness buckle.

• Unlatch the waist buckle by squeezing the releases on both sides of the buckle and removing them from the buckle.

• Lay the Front Seat Cover over the front seat.

• Lift up on the front of the Front Seat Cover, thread the crotch buckle through the opening in the center of the seat cover and pull it completely through.

NOTE: There is a sliding adjuster on the crotch strap. Be sure this adjuster is also pulled through the opening in the seat cover.

• Pull the seatback portion of the Front Seat Cover forward.

• Locate the male ends of the waist buckle, thread each of them through the openings in the seat cover and pull them through.

NOTE: Be sure that the straps are not twisted.

• Locate the shoulder harness straps and thread each of them through the corresponding openings in the seat cover. It is extremely important that shoulder

harness straps are positioned properly and inserted through the openings at the SAME height. Be sure that the straps are not twisted. See Figure 3.

• Lift the seat cover and fit it properly over the top of the seatback.

NOTE: There is an opening on the back of the seat cover for access to the seatback recline mechanism.

• Adjust the seat cover and fit the bottom of the seat cover around the rear underside of the seat until it is secure.

• Tilt the stroller backward so it is resting on the handlebar and the rear wheels.

• Fit the front edge of the seat cover over the front edge of the seat. Locate the two circular fittings on the underside of the front seat and fit the openings in the seat cover over them to secure properly.See Figure 4.

• Tilt the stroller so it is resting on all four wheels and check to ensure that the Front Seat Cover is properly secured.

• Re-buckle the shoulder straps to the harness buckle to secure them.
