To replace the batteries, remove the battery cover, insert four “AA” batteries as indicated in the battery compartment, and then replace the battery cover.

To set the date and time, press the button, press the or buttons to change the setting, and then press the button to confirm. Continue this process until you have set the correct date and time. Finally, press the START/STOP button to store the setting.

To take a blood pressure reading, press the START/STOP button. The cuff will start to inflate automatically. After the cuff starts to inflate, if your systolic pressure is more than 220 mmHg, press and hold the START/STOP button until the monitor inflates 30 to 40 mmHg higher than your expected systolic pressure. The monitor will automatically store the measurement in its memory and will automatically turn off after five minutes.

The error message “EE” means that the cuff is under-inflated. Carefully read and repeat the steps listed under section 3.3. Make sure that the air tube is connected securely. If the problem continues, replace the batteries with new ones.

The error message “E” means that there has been movement during measurement. Repeat measurement. Remain still and do not talk during measurement. If this still does not solve the problem, contact your OMRON retail outlet or distributor.
