Dell XPS 15
Pushing innovation to the edge
The smallest 15-inch on the planet with the
world’s first InfinityEdge display
The new XPS 15 is the smallest 15-inch laptop
on the planet, with the world’s first virtually
borderless InfinityEdge display on a 15-inch
laptop. Thanks to the same innovative display
design that is on the award-winning XPS 13, we
can squeeze that beautiful 15.6-inch display
into a form closer to the size of a 14-inch
laptop. Plus, the XPS 15 is only 11-17mm thin
and starts at under 4 pounds, making it the
lightest performance-class 15-inch laptop in the
world.
State of the art viewing experience
With a stunning high resolution display, up to
UltraSharp™ 4K Ultra HD, you can enjoy eyepopping clarity and detail. That is an incredible
8 million pixels at 282 PPI - 6 million more
pixels than FHD and 7 times that of an HD
display. High resolution means, whatever you
are doing, your image is precise and clear. IPS
wide-viewing angles let you enjoy 170° views
on a brilliantly bright, 350-nit screen. With the
XPS 15, Dell has the only laptop with 100%
minimum Adobe RGB color, meaning the
display represents all color in the Adobe color
space without compromise. Color is rich, vivid,
more colorful and accurate. Professionals have
full color representation of their content in the
field and on their display with exactly the same
colors represented. For content that is not
already in Adobe RGB format, like a webpage or
movie, PremierColor Software remaps the
colors easily so you are able to see them
accurately on your screen. So, you can be sure
you are viewing a movie as the director
intended or seeing the true color of paint, a

dress, a sofa, etc. when shopping online.
Powerhouse performance
Do more and wait less with the new XPS 15, our
most powerful XPS laptop yet. It’s packed with
the newest Intel® 6th gen processors up to i7
Quad Core so you can power through the most
intensive tasks with ease. Even the memory, up
to 16GB, is high performance in the XPS 15. At a
bandwidth of 2133MHz it is 1.3 times the speed
of 1600GHz options. Faster memory means you
get to the content that you need quicker and
you aren’t slowed down by memory-intensive
applications. NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 960M
graphics with 2GB of GDDR5 memory provides
graphics horsepower to watch and edit HD
videos quickly and easily and touch up high-res
photos in less time. The XPS 15 includes ample
storage up to 1TB in either hard drive or solid
state drive formats. With a solid state drive,
your laptop boots and resumes in seconds. With
a standard hard drive plus flash, you can get
more storage at a lower cost and still have the
benefit of ultra-fast access to your most-used
applications and files.
Thunderbolt™
The XPS 13 features a new Thunderbolt 3 port,
which is the newest generation of Type-C
connectivity, enabling up to 8x the transfer
speeds of USB 3.0 at up to 40Gbps and is twice
as fast as Thunderbolt 2. It is a multi-use port
than can charge your device, power up to two
4K displays and supports one cable docking.

Pushing innovation to the edge
Battery life leadership
The XPS 15 has industry-leading battery life,
getting up to 17 hours1 of run time (with
FHD, 84WHr battery and SSD) on a single
charge. On the go for even longer? Get an
additional 9 hours1 of battery life (up to 26
hours1,4 total) with the optional Dell Power
Companion. A power reserve for all of your
devices (PCs and tablets), it quickly charges
via your power adapter.
Easy inputs
Always an XPS standard, the XPS 15 comes with
a backlit keyboard, for anytime, anywhere
usage. Keys are illuminated so you can use your
keyboard in low and no light situations. Dell’s
precision
touchpad
delivers
improved
performance, making every click count. Your
touchpad will deliver the exact action you
intended, every time. Precision touchpads
deliver fluid panning, pinching and zooming, for
an experience that’s touchscreen-smooth and
quick, and even use gestures similar to the ones
you make on screen.
Crafted without compromise
XPS laptops are artfully constructed with
premium materials for maximum durability.
Sleek and beautiful overall design is a side effect
of careful performance driven construction.
Machined aluminum provides strength and
durability. The top cover and base are precision
cut from a single block of aluminum. The
carbon fiber palm rest is strong like aluminum,
and thin, but feels cooler to the touch. Finally,
edge-to-edge Corning® Gorilla Glass NBT™ on
the 4K Ultra HD display is bonded to the
Dell - Internal Use - Confidential
aluminum display back for added strength. With
these materials, XPS products are strong and
durable, look stunning, and feel even better in
your hands.
Built for business
XPS is doing more than ever before to ensure it
fits into a business environment. The XPS 15 has
all of the manageability and select security
features of Latitude™ in an aggressively thin and
competitive form factor. The most manageable
15-inch laptop and best-in-class security for
commercial
customers.
With the new
Thunderbolt™ 3 port, the XPS 15 now offers the
next generation of Latitude docking, using only
one cable. Both the Dell Thunderbolt dock and
the Dell Dock are easily connected with one
cable. (Docks sold separately).
Designed with the environment in mind
XPS laptops are among our greenest laptops
ever. From our design decisions to the product
and packaging we choose to our recycle
options for your old PC, the environment is top
of mind. XPS laptops are designed with smarter
materials, by avoiding materials of concern
including cadmium, lead, hexavalent chromium,
mercury, some phthalates, and they are all
BFR/PVC-free.* All XPS notebooks ship in
recyclable,
compost-friendly
packaging,
including our highly renewable bamboo trays,
and we offer options to responsibly recycle
your old product through our reconnect
partnerships. With presence in 78 countries, Dell
has the widest reach of free consumer takeback offering in the industry with consumer
drop off in over 2400 Goodwill locations in
North America. Without exception, all XPS
notebooks are ENERGY STAR® qualified and
anticipated EPEAT Gold registered.
