introduction
This compact folding cot is suitable for use as a travel cot and a play
pen by a child up to 15 kg / 33 lb in weight and less than 85cm / 33.5” tall.

preparation for use
Unzip the travel bag and remove the
frame and mattress.
Undo the fastening straps that hold
the mattress in place around the
frame.

Place the frame with its feet on the
floor.
Pull the feet apart so they are
approximately 60 cm / 24” apart.

Lift the short sides of the cot upwards
until they lock in to position.
If you have difficulty locking the top
rails, lift the centre of the base higher,
and try again.

Repeat with the long sides of the cot.

Check all sides have locked by
pressing down at their centres.
Push down the centre of the base (A)
then press the handle down flat (B).

Place the mattress in the cot with the
padded side facing up.
Pass one strap at each end of the
mattress through the slit in the cot
fabric, and fasten underneath.

Remove the mattress from inside the
cot.

Lift the handle in the centre of the
base (A) and pull upwards (B).
The cot will start to fold.

At the centre of each top rail is a lock
with a squeeze button on the underside.

Start with the two long sides.
Locate each button, then gently lift
the centre of the rail (A).
Squeeze the button (B) while
pushing down the side rail.
Repeat for the short sides until all four
sides are unlocked.
Note: If you have difficulty unlocking
any top rail, lift the base slightly
higher (see diagram 3 below) before
squeezing the release button.

Pull the handle at the centre of the
base fully upwards to complete
folding of the cot.

With the padded side of the mattress
on the inside, place the cot on the
open mattress and wrap the mattress
around the cot.
Pass the fastening straps through the
plastic rings on the opposite straps
and fasten.

Stand the cot up and pull the carry
bag over the top, ensuring the carry
handle is on the same side as the zip.

care of your product
The mattress, fabric and frame can be sponge cleaned with warm
water and a mild detergent.
The carry bag can be machine washed at 40 ºC.
Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit
type cleaners.
Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before using or storing.

This cot is designed for use by a single child who is less than 15 kg /
33 lb and less than 85 cm / 33” tall.
Keep all children away from the cot during assembly and folding.
The cot must be fully open and locked before putting your child inside.
Failure to lock the top rails presents a safety hazard.
Do not use the cot without the mattress.
Do not put anything into the cot that may provide a foothold to allow
your child to climb out e.g. large toys, or that could cause suffocation
or strangulation.
String and ribbons can cause strangulation. Do not place toys
attached to cords or ribbons around the cot.
Do not use the cot near strong sources of heat e.g. Open fires, electric
bar fires, gas fires etc.
Keep the cot away from trailing cords and flexes.
Do not move the cot with the child in it.
The cot is for static use only and is not to be used in any moving vehicle.
Do not use if any part is broken, torn or missing.
Only replacement parts supplied by Mothercare should be used.
Others may render the cot unsafe.
For correct and safe fitting the mattress to be used with this cot should
be not less than 94 cm in length and 64 cm in width nor more than
98 cm in length or more than 68 cm in width.
