GENERAL INFORMATION
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this stainless steel personal blender. It contains important information on startup and handling.
For improved readability, the stainless steel personal blender will be referred to only as the “blender” below.
Before using the blender, read the user manual carefully. This particularly applies for the safety notes. Failure to heed this user manual may result in severe injury or damage to the blender.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the blender on to third parties, please be sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the blender or on the packaging.
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard with moderate degree of risk which may lead to death or severe injury if not avoided.
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard with low risk that, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.

SAFETY
Proper use
The blender is exclusively designed for making smoothies, shakes, crushed ice and mixed drinks. It is only intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial use.
Only use the blender as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The blender is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
Safety notes
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive power voltage may result in an electric shock.
1. Always ensure the appliance is operated on an electric power source matched to the rated voltage indicated on the appliance.
2. Only connect the blender to an easily accessible socket so that you can quickly disconnect it from the socket in the event of an accident.
3. Do not operate the blender if it is visibly damaged or if the power cord or power plug is defective.
4. If the power cord of the blender is damaged, the manufacturer, its customer service team or a person with similar qualifi cations must replace it.
5. Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualifi ed professional perform the repairs.
Contact a qualifi ed workshop for this. Liability and warranty claims are waived in the event of repairs performed by the user, improper connection of the device or incorrect operation.
6. Only parts that comply with the original device data may be used for repairs. Electrical and mechanical parts, which are essential for providing protection against sources of danger, are located in this blender.
7. The blender must not be operated with an external timer or separate control system.
8. Do not submerge the blender, the power cord or the power plug in water or other liquids.
9. Never touch the power plug with damp hands.
10. Never pull the power plug out of the socket by the power cord; instead, always do so by taking hold of the power plug.
11. Never use the power cord as a carrying handle.
12. Keep the blender, power plug and power cord away from open fl ames and hot surfaces.

13. Lay the power cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
14. Do not kink the power cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.
15. Only use the blender indoors. Never operate it in wet rooms or in the rain.
16. Never store the blender such that there is a risk of it falling into a tub or a basin.
17. Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen in water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the power plug.
18. Make sure that children do not insert any objects in the blender.
19. Always switch the blender off and pull the power plug out of the socket when you are not using the blender, when you intend to clean it or in the event of an accident.
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children).
1. This blender may be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or those lacking experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in how to safely use the blender and have understood the risks associated with operating it.
2. Children must not use the blender. Keep children away from the blender and power cord.
3. Children must not play with the blender. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children.
4. Do not leave the blender unattended while in operation.
5. Do not allow children to play with the packaging wrapper.
Children may get caught in it when playing and suffocate.
6. Keep children away from the small parts. Children could swallow small parts and choke.

1. The blades of the blender are sharp. Be careful when working with the blade assembly.
2. Always disconnect the blender from the power supply when assembling, disassembling, maintaining or cleaning the blender.
3. Always disconnect the blender from the power supply when changing accessories.

Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the blender may result in damage to the appliance.
1. Place the blender on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-resistant and suffi ciently stable work surface. Do not place the blender on the edge of the work surface.
2. Avoid the build-up of heat by not placing the blender directly up against a wall or under cupboards or in similar areas.
3. Never place the blender on or near hot surfaces (e.g. hotplates).
4. Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot parts.
5. Never expose the blender to high temperatures (heaters etc.) or to effects of the weather (rain etc.). Never pour liquids into the base unit of the blender.
6. The blender is designed for short operation not exceeding 1 minute. Let the blender cool down to room temperature before operating it again.
7. Never attempt to clean the base unit of the blender by submerging it in water or use a steam cleaner to clean it.
8. Never place the base unit of the blender or the blade assembly in the dishwasher.
9. Stop using the blender if the plastic parts of the blender exhibit cracks or breaks or are deformed. Use only original spare parts to replace damaged components.
10. The rubber feet with suction cups located on the bottom of the blender could be adversely affected by cleaning products used on counter tops. It is recommended that you place an anti-slip base under the blender when using it.

FIRST USE
Checking the blender and packed contents
Risk of damage!
− Be very careful when opening the packaging.
1. Take the blender out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure all of the parts are contained in the package (see fi g. A).
3. Check whether the blender or any of the individual parts are damaged. If this is the case, do not use the blender. Contact the manufacturer at the service address specifi ed on the warranty card.
Basic cleaning
1. Remove the packaging material and all protective foils.
2. Clean all parts of the personal blender before fi rst use as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
Setting up the blender
1. Unwind the power cord

on a level and stable work surface.
Make sure that this surface is easy to clean, well lit and easily accessible.
4. Plug the power cord into an easily accessible electrical socket.

OPERATION
Preparing and adding food
Risk of injury!
Handling the blender improperly may result in injury.
− The blades of the blender are sharp. Be careful when working with the blade assembly.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the blender may result in damage to the blender.
− Do not overfi ll the cup.
− If you would like to make crushed ice, fi ll the smoothie cup with ice cubes to no more than ⅓ of its capacity. Add approx. 2 table spoons of water. Never start processing the ice cubes before adding water.
− To prevent damage to the blade assembly when making crushed ice, briefl y push the pulse button several times in a row. Take the cup off of the motor unit, shake the contents to distribute them properly and blend them again.
The blender has two large 600 ml blending cups

1. Peel, pit and remove seeds from fruit and vegetables.
Preferably, you should use soft, fresh fruit or vegetables.
2. Cut fruits or vegetables into pieces that are approx. 0.5-0.75 inches. in size.
3. Screw the blade assembly

off of the cup in a counterclockwise direction.
4. Put the chopped fruit or vegetables into the cup until it is half full.
Finish by adding the softer pieces of fruit and vegetables to the cup. This way, they will come into contact with the blades fi rst when the cup is fi tted, ensuring better blending results.
5. Fill the other half of the cup with liquid (see fi g. B).
Do not overfi ll.
You can use e.g. apple or orange juice, milk or yogurt as a liquid.

Mounting the smoothie cup and blending
Risk of injury!
Handling the blender improperly may result in injury.
− The blades of the blender are sharp. Be careful when working with the blade assembly.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the blender may result in damage to the blender.
− The blender is designed for short operation not exceeding 1 minute. Let the blender cool down to room temperature before operating it again.
− To avoid damage to the blades or bearings do not use the blender to chop dry and hard food (e.g. nuts, coffee beans etc.).
1. Screw the blade assembly 3 clockwise onto the smoothie cup 1 until tight (see fi g. C).
2. Put the smoothie cup with the blade assembly screwed on upside down on the base unit 6 (see fi g. D).
Make sure that the locking pins 2 extend into the safety switches 4 of the base unit.
3. Gently push the smoothie cup down and turn it clockwise until tight.
4. Ensure the power cord 8 is connected to a properly installed socket.
5. Hold the pulse button 5 until the food in the smoothie cup has the desired consistency (see fi g. E).
Observe short operating time of 1 minute.
As soon as you release the pulse button, the motor of the blender will stop.
Depending on the composition of the ingredients, turning the unit on and off several times may produce the desired result.
Removing the smoothie cup

− The blades of the blender are sharp. Be careful when working with the blade assembly.
1. Turn the smoothie cup 1 counterclockwise until it unlocks and can be removed.
2. Take the smoothie cup with the blade assembly 3 from the base unit 6 .
3. Turn the smoothie cup over and unscrew the blade assembly off of the smoothie cup by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Pour the contents of the smoothie cup into a drinking cup or screw the drinking lid 7 onto the smoothie cup.

CLEANING
Risk of injury!
Handling the blender improperly may result in injury.
− The blades of the blender are sharp. Be careful when cleaning the blade assembly.
Risk of short circuit!
Water that has penetrated the base unit may cause a short circuit.
− Never immerse the base unit of the blender in water.
− Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate the base unit.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the blender may result in damage.
− Do not use any abrasive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the surfaces.
− Never place the base unit of the blender or the blade assembly in the dishwasher.
The blade assembly and drinking lids have rubber seals that can be removed for better cleaning.
Acidic foods could cause the plastic containers to discolor. Discoloration does not indicate damage.
The mixing cups and their lids are dishwasher safe, top rack only.
The blender should be cleaned after each use.

with a small amount of detergent and warm water.

with a small amount of detergent and warm water or in the dishwasher, upper rack only.
6. Then wipe all parts dry completely.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
1. Clean the blender as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
2. Wrap the entire power cord 8 around the cord storage 9 (see fi g. F).
3. Store the blender and its accessories in a dry, frostfree location out of the reach of children.
4. To safely transport the blender, wrap it in bubble wrap or place the blender in the original packaging.
You can attach the drinking lid to the bottom of a smoothie cup to transport or store the drinking lid.
Ideally, the smoothie cups should be transported in an upright position.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The blender doesn’t work.
The blender is working, but the food is not being suffi ciently blended.
The blender is working, but the food is not being processed.
Possible cause
The power plug 8 has not been inserted into an electrical socket.
Solution
− Connect the power plug with a properly installed socket.
The smoothie cup 1 is not correctly fi tted in the base unit 6 .
The blender is overfi lled.
You did not add any or enough liquid to the food in the smoothie cup.

extend into the safety switches
of the base unit and whether the smoothie cup is locked in place.
2. Make sure that the locking pins extend far enough into the base unit’s safety switches. Vibrations may cause the smoothie cup to rotate and switch off the blender.
1. Stop the blending process.
2. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
3. Take the smoothie cup off of the base unit.
4. Unscrew the blade assembly

off of the smoothie cup and take some of the food out of the smoothie cup.
− Fill at least half of the smoothie cup with liquid.

Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty
The Manufacturer of the product warrants to the original purchaser of this product from an authorized reseller or distributor that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 2 years after date of purchase. Manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace with new or refurbished product. The manufacturer reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the damaged product, and all costs of shipping the damaged product for inspection and warranty service shall be borne solely by the purchaser.
The manufacturer’s limited warranty is valid only in accordance with the following conditions:
1. The product is purchased directly from manufacturer or an authorized reseller.
The warranty is not transferable, only the original purchaser is covered by this
warranty.
2. This warranty is void if the product is used in a commercial or institutional
establishment.
3. This warranty is void if the product has been subject to misuse, abuse,
negligence, unauthorized modifi cation or repair, or accident. Normal wear and
tear are not covered by this warranty.
4. Purchaser must present acceptable proof of original receipt for the product.
5. This warranty does not affect any other legal rights you may have by
operation of law.
