Frequently asked questions

Connect the MRG to your router using a CAT5/6 cable. Plug in the AC power cord into a dedicated power outlet. Once the power cord is connected, the MRG should boot up within a couple of minutes.

If the serial numbers do not match, please contact Renesola for further assistance.

You can input the serial numbers manually or use a scanner or keyboard connected to the MRG's USB port. Enter the digits/characters between the hyphens. If the digits start with '0's', you may skip the '0s' and enter the last 5 digits before the '-A'.

Select the 'Network Test' tab and click the 'Execute' button. Wait a few seconds and check the 'Net State' and 'Data Com' boxes. 'GOOD' in both boxes means the MRG is connected to the internet and successfully communicating with the Renesola server.

Check the date and time, network settings, and ensure that the MRG was installed and configured according to instructions in the manual. You may need to restart the MRG to make new settings take effect.
