Arming & Disarming
1. How To Disarm
• Enter a valid user code.
• The red ARMED light will turn off, and the tone will stop.
2. How To Arm
• The green ready light must be on, ensure all protected areas are secure.
• Enter a valid code.
• The red ARMED light will come on.
• Leave the protected area.
3. What To Do If Code Does Not Work
• If code is not accepted press the [#] key to clear.
• Re-enter a valid code.
• The red ALARM light will go off for ‘disarming’, on for ‘arming’.
4. How To Night Arm
• Ensure that zones to be bypass have been programmed for “AUTOMATIC BYPASS”.
• Enter a valid user code and do not trip the entry/delay zone or other secure zones.
• The red ARMED light will come on.
• After the delay time is up the keypad will give one long beep with the bypassed zones illuminated on
the keypad and the PARTIAL light will come on.
• A final long beep will occur about 30 seconds after.
5. How To Fully Arm
• Enter a valid user code to disarm the alarm.
• Re-enter code and leave premises.
Keypad Functions
6. How To View Memory
• Press [0] key. Wait 5 seconds.
• Lights will flash where alarm occurred and PARTIAL light also.
7. How To Exit Memory
• Lights will turn off after a few seconds.
• Keypad will return to normal status.
8. How To Bypass Zones
• To bypass press [∗] + zones to bypass + [∗].
• Zone lights will stay lit while bypassed.
• Arm system, ARMED light will be lit.
9. How To Clear Bypasses
• 1: enter valid code to disarm, all bypassed zones will disable, or
• 2: press [∗] + zones to disable + [∗].
10. How To View Trouble
• AC
Light off indicates no power. Blinks when battery is low.
• ARMED
Flashes for alarm memory if alarm was activated during arming cycle.
• READY Flashing means communicator trouble.
• ZONES Flashing means unsecured, steady means bypassed
11. How To Clear Trouble
• Fix indicated problems listed above.
12. How To Exit From Trouble
• Once troubles are fixed keypad will return to normal settings.
13. How To Recognise That The Chime Function Is On
• Keypad will give a long beep when zone is tripped.
• Zone light will flash while beeping.
14. How To Turn On Chime
• Press pre-programmed number for chime. Wait 5 seconds.
• Keypad will give a long beep. Note there is no visible display to show chime active or inactive.
15. How To Turn Off Chime
•
Press pre-programmed number for chime. Wait 5 seconds.
• Keypad will give a long beep.
16. How To Send Keypad Panic Alarms
• Press down [*] + [#] keys together for a PANIC alarm.
• Press down [1] + [3] keys together for a FIRE alarm.
17. How To Reset Smoke Detectors
• Press the [#] key.
• This will drop power to latching smoke detectors.

18. How To Add User Codes
• 7 codes are available, master-#1, user codes-#2-7.
• You must know master code to enter other codes.
• To add user code press [∗] [code number 2-7] [#], [master code], [∗] [code number 2-7] [#], [new user
code], [∗] [code number 2-7] [#].
19. How To Delete User Codes
• To delete a code press [∗] [code number 2-7] [#], [master code], [∗] [code number 2-7] [#], [∗]-[∗]-[∗][∗], [∗] [code number 2-7] [#].
20. How To Overwrite User Codes
• To overwrite a code press [∗] [code number 2-7] [#], [master code], [∗] [code number 2-7] [#], [new
code over top of old one] [∗] [#].
