To enjoy your MARINE COMPACT CD PLAYER
please take a few minutes to look through this
instruction manual for the installation and
operation. Most of the installations are straight
forward and can be handled by do-it-yourself
with the right tools. However, if you still don't
feel confident after reading this manual,
consider to hand over to someone who better
suited to do this job.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
@ Insert the unit until it is firmly locked to the main unit,
otherwise it may fall out of place when jolted.
@® When extending the ignition, memory backup or ground cable, use
diameter of 0.75mm (AWG18) or more automotive grade cable to avoid
wire deterioration or damage to the wire coating.
@ To prevent short circuit, never put or leave any metallic object inside the unit.
O If you smell or see smoke, turn off the power immediately and consult your
dealer.
Oe Be careful not to drop or shock the unit strongly, it may break or crack
because it contain glass parts.
CAUTION
@ Be sure the unit is connected to a 12V DC power with a Negative Ground.
@ The unit is only designed for use with 4 speakers. Do not combine output for
use with 2 speakers. Do not ground negative speaker leads to the chassis
ground.
e Do not open the top cover and do not install the unit in place where it is
exposed to direct sunlight (including the faceplate), in order to avoid high
heat or humidity, water splash over it or dust .
@ Do not touch the terminals of the units.

SPEAKERS REQUIREMENT
The unit is only designed for the use with 4 speakers System, it can only be connected
with speakers rated in the load impedance range from 4 to 8 ohms. Load impedance
less than 4 ohms could damage the unit.
Never combine (BRIDGE) the outputs for use with 2 speakers, and Never ground any
Negative speaker to the Chassis Ground.

INSTALLATION
Before install the Receiver permanently, fit it in the approximate place in
you boat Connect the equipment according to the speakers and Electrical
~ Connections.
When your system is operated properly, (preferably with the boat engine
running), follow the instructions for permanent installation of your system.

INSTALL THE UNIT
(1) Install half sleeve, can be with or without adapter. It will be more tight fit
if with adapter.
(2) Bend over some tabs where possible to secure the half sleeve inside of
dash.
(3) Support strap to be strutted under dash, secure this strip to avoid
skipping of Disc.
REMOVING THE UNIT
(4) Insert removal wrench into the small gaP on the right side of the unit
and pull the unit slightly out on the same side, then release the wrench.
Repeat the same action for the left side. By now, you can remove the
unit and unplug the wires connector.

WIRING DIAGRAM
Follow this easy wiring diagram in order to enable you to install the
new or existing RADIO and SPEAKER Wiring System.
| RADIO WIRING
Be sure the unit is connected to a 12 Volt Battery with Negative Ground.
Good Ground connections eliminate most electrical noise problem and
require tight with the metal boat chassis. Remove plastic, paint or dust
for good electrical contact.

The unit is only designed for the use with 4 speakers System, it can only be

PLAY THE DISC
If a disc already been loaded, Em would be shown on the
display "press this button to start play disc.
If no disc in the unit, press this button to go into the mode of
"line in",i.e. This button do the same function as the AUX button.
PRESET STATIONS

There are Six numbered preset buttons which can store and recall
stations for each band.
There are 3 FM bands- FM1, FM2, and FM3 made total 18 preset FM
band stations. And 2 AM bands- AM 11 and AM 2made total 12 preset АМ
band stations.
STORE A STATION
(1) At first Press " BND " The BAND button to select
band to store. ( if needed )
(2)Press the " UP or DOWN " of TUNE button to select
a desired station.
Until the according indication shown on the display, the
desired station is saved.
RECALL A STATION
Press a preset button to select the stored station.

Press the " MUTE " Button to keep the sound in very
low level condition.
"MUTE" blinks on the display indicates mute function

LOUDNESS
‘Press the " LOUD " Button to emphasize the Bass output,
a small word of " LOUD " shown on the display indicates
that the loudness function is on.
Press " LOUD " button again to resume the normal
listening.
CLOCK SETTING / DISPLAY
To set the time clock, press " CLK "button to
enter the state of clock adjustment, the clock
shown on the display .
Then press and hold the "CLK" button, at the same
time press the Hour or Minute button to adjust
Hour or minute. The clock only have 12 hours
system with "AM" or "PM" indication,
and have to wait 6 seconds after time
clock setting, then starts to work.
The clock will not all the time display on the
LCD, press the " CLK " button once, the clock
will only be shown on the display for 6 seconds
then return to other normal function.
RADIO OPERATION
Press the " BND " band button to operate the radio function,
(even though CD is playing)
Total 3 set FM Band ( FM 1, FM2, and FM3)
Total 2 set AM Band (AM1 and AM2 )
Each set of the band can be stored up to 6 preset stations,
making total 30 preset memory stations.
In Radio Mode, press " TUNE UP or TUNE Down " Button
for less than 2 second to move the radio frequency up or
down by one step. So you can tune the radio frequency

more than 1 Second, the Radio will seek for the next up or
down strong and clear frequency Station.
Repeat this action to seek for other desired station.
