Added high resolution buttons and larger dialogs for Windows based data controllers
with high resolution screens
Base Station Setup

Added the ability to setup a base station on an “unknown point” and save the point to
the control file
o
Note: The current localization will be erased
Project Coordinate System

Changed the way coordinate system works for a project file. It is now possible for a user
to select a coordinate system from three options: Local Coordinates (for Total Stations),
GPS Localizations (GPS WGS84 > Local), Known Projection

It is now possible to have a localization in addition to a projection selected, allowing for
horizontal and vertical adjustments on top of the projection
Extended Point Codes / Point Attributes

Added the ability to have up to Four additional descriptions/attributes via a new “Adv.”
button on the Save point pop-up dialog window
Enhancements to Cutsheets Report

Added the ability to store Autotopo and topo shots to the cutsheet report, similar to
Stakeout mode
o

To enable this feature, check the box for “Enable for AutoTopo / Topo-shot”
under Survey Stakeout Option Cut Sheet tab
Added several new options that can be added to the cutsheet
o
WGS84 coordinate (lat, long, hgt)

Total Station / Survey Applications

Added the ability to access the “turn instrument” dialog inside station setup to correctly
position the instrument via either the positional arrows or new “search” (no RC) and
“QLock” (RC) buttons.

A new, color-coded QLock button that displays the current tracking or searching status
of the Total Station has been added.
o
This button can be used in conjunction with an RC to start or stop a QLock, and
also for searching in Standard Mode if General Search is selected.

Added the ability to change the “prism type” for PS total station under the Equipment
Builder, in order to improve tracking performance
-
Modified the “prism constant” to only display in millimeters, matching the prism
constant value on all prisms

Added a new Backsight Check option in Station Setup
o
Users can now check their current backsight setup error and choose to “reset”
the control point position or continue working
Extend Grade / User-Defined Grade Feature

Added the ability to extend any grade of any surface (road or DTM/TIN surface) for use
for stakeout, surface check, etc, by simply right clicking on the surface

Added the ability to add a user-defined grade anywhere on the surface where there is a
grade change
o
To add a user-defined grade, click anywhere on the surface and enter any grade
you wish to apply to either the Road Alignment or DTM/TIN surface. Doing so
allows you to stakeout a road feature line (i.e. EOP) with the stationing from
centerline and still get the elevation control to a user-defined grade that you
added onto the surface

GNSS Receiver OAF/Satellite tracking Improvements

Improved to the way Pocket3D configures a base station and rover.
o
Pocket3D will configure the base and UHF Rover to use GLONASS L1/L2 signals
as per previous versions with the exception of v11.3.
o
Pocket3D will configure a rover using NTRIP to use GLONASS C/A + L2C signals to
improve position stability, as per v11.3.
Added support for Net-G5A
o

Net-G5 can now be launched as a base station
General performance improvements for HiPer V and GR-5 GNSS Receivers
o
Resolved an issue where AutoTopo by Distance was not working as expected
o
Resolved an issue where Stakeout mode appeared to “lag” when compared to
older GNSS receivers
o
Resolved miscellaneous issues related to refresh rate
Bluetooth Device Discovery

Added a “last discovered” option to store previously used Bluetooth devices to the
Windows BT popup dialog box (For Windows based Data Controller, i.e. FC-5000)
Default Settings for Sensor Types

GPS Machines – HiPer V receiver with DUHF 2 radio settings

mmGPS Receiver Port – Serial Port A is now default to reflect current GPS
receivers
General Enhancements

Resolved an issue where Pocket3D would crash or not complete a request when
merging polylines.

Fixed an issue where Pocket3D was not correctly measuring a topo shot based on the
defined “minimum elevation difference”
o

AutoTopo by elevation will now only measure a topo shot based on the desired
“minimum elevation difference”
Made improvements to the way points are being imported from a LandXML file
o
Users can now choose to keep the original numbering of the file or create their
own starting number

Updated mmGPS Transmitter Calibration wizard text to reflect transmitters perspective
to reduce confusion for how to rotate the transmitter
-
Known station and backsight no longer displays the horizontal angle in its results as it
was confusing some users.
o

Note: The HA can now be observed in Backsight Check.
Resolved an issue where the OSTN02 projection would not load correctly for WM6 data
controllers
