set the device to operate continually. Press the treatment start push-button (No. 4), using one hand, and verify that
the green light is on. Keep it pressed and simultaneously press the main power switch (No. 1). Now release both
buttons at the same time. The device continues to work and treatment can begin. To stop the device, briefly press
the treatment start push-button (No. 4) or the pressure switch (No. 5). Caution: when using this method you should
place the device gently upon your skin. If you press the pressure-switch area (No. 5) too hard upon the skin, the
device will stop working.
2
3. Operating by pressing on the skin
1
This method is best suited for areas of the body that are difficult to reach and are out of sight, as well as for orthopedic
problems that require greater laser beam penetration depth. This method is not suitable for areas of exposed tissue,
open wounds or too-painful sores. After having set treatment time, place the pressure-switch area (No. 5) on the treated
area, and gently press the device on your skin. This will automatically activate an electronic micro-switch and start the
laser device. To stop the device lift it away from your skin.
3.1 Start the device
Press the main power switch (No. 1). After a short beep the display will switch on.
A timer (a digital clock for setting treatment time) will be displayed (No. 3).
3.2 Set treatment time
Press the treatment time setting button (No. 2): on its right side to increase time (+) or
its left side to decrease time (-). The timer is adjustable in increments of 30 seconds.
Set the time according to the treatment requirements as listed in the table on pages 13-14.
3.3 Start the treatment
After having set treatment time you can start operating the device in one of the

Display
Status
The indication " LOW " is displayed when laser power level is below the required level.
Treatment should be stopped.
The cause may be one of the following:
1. Battery power is too low.
2. Diode lifespan has reached its end and should be changed at the service center.
3. The device is operated in a different environment to that for which it was designed, e.g.
temperatures higher than 40°C. Charge the batteries, switch on the device and see if the
writing "LOW " has disappeared. If not, verify that room temperature is not exceptionally high,
and if necessary move away from the hot area. If it is not higher than 40°C and the writing "LOW "
is still displayed - ship the device to the service center for diode change.

6. Therapy dosages
Acute pain treatment
For pain arising from recent sports injuries, traumas or burns - it is recommended to treat as soon as possible after suffering
the injury. Treat for as long as 6 minutes X 10 times in a row, with 5-minute breaks between one treatment to another. With
acute pain a 6-8 minute dosage can be applied starting with the first treatment. It is best to treat at regular intervals starting
as soon as possible after suffering the injury. Treat the skin directly, not through clothing, bandages, etc. In case of an open
wound, the laser device should be placed as near as possible to the wound, without making direct contact.
Even if there is an improvement - it is recommended to continue with the therapy until complete recovery.
Chronic pain treatment
In cases of a new treatment point where pain persists for longer than a month, this pain should be considered chronic,
with high probability of inflammation. In such cases it is recommended to run the device over the treated area for no
more than 1.5 minutes and increase the dosage by 30 seconds every day, until reaching the recommended dosage.
Treat 2-4 times a day, consistently. If you experience increased pain following treatment, it is an indication that the
body is responding to the treatment and the desired process of cell biostimulation is under way. In this case, stop the
treatment for 24 hours then start again with a reduced dosage. If there is no increase in pain level, increase the dosage
gradually, until reaching the recommended dosage. It is recommended to adjust dosage in accordance with how you
feel and continue treatment until the problem is resolved or alleviated permanently.

7. Treatment Protocol - B-Cure Laser
For all recommended therapies, see the enclosed illustration.
The recommended treatment time for each of the following conditions is 6-8 minutes per 4.5 square cm area unit,
multiplied by the number of places recommended for each condition, e.g, when treating lower back pain (No. 5
in the illustration) there are 3 areas to be treated, and each 4.5 square cm area is to be treated for 6-8 minutes,
depending on personal feeling - for a total duration of 6-8 minutes times three, which amounts to 18-24 minutes.
Treatment should be repeated 2-4 times a day, following guidelines, until complete recovery or permanent pain
relief. With chronic problems the first treatment should only be one minute and a half, so that the body may get used
to the treatment, and then increase treatment time gradually, as described in Chapter 6; Therapy Dosages, on page
12. It is recommended that you hold the B-Cure Laser Sport motionless during treatment. Plenty of patience and
determination are required in order to achieve optimal results.
The elongated shape of the B-Cure Laser Sport laser beam, 4.5 cm long and 1 cm wide, is optimized for therapeutic
needs and body shape. For better results pay close attention to the written instructions and illustrations, regarding
where to treat and how to place the device to best utilize the beam length.
Treating sports injuries should always start from the most painful point, and then move to other spots, so as to ensure
you are treating the central problem first, to the best of your knowledge.

8. Guidelines for achieving the best treatment results
9. Safety Measures
•Covering the treated area: If the area that requires treatment is larger than the 1 cm by 4.5 cm, repeat treatment
• Do not use this device either for treatment of a pregnant woman's belly, or for direct treatment of a cancerous growth.
on the adjacent area until you've covered the whole area. Keep the device motionless over the treated area for
the recommended duration. After covering a 4.5 square cm area, which is the beam area, for the recommended
amount of time, 4-8 minutes, depending on type of treatment, move the beam to the adjacent area. Do not
cover a large area using circular motion. This way the whole area will benefit from an optimal treatment.
Treatment can be repeated 4 or more times a day, and soon after suffering an injury or a fresh burn - even 10
times a day!
First treatment: With a chronic condition, always start with a 1.5-minute treatment. If the pain gets worse, it is
the result of a biostimulation process. In this situation it is recommend to stop treatment for 24 hours and then
resume with 1.5-minute treatments and gradually increase treatment times until reaching the recommended
dosage without increasing pain, at your discretion.
Strict treatment continuity - Be sure to maintain daily treatment continuity, and not stop in mid process, even
if there is significant improvements, until a permanent relief has been achieved or the problem solved. Please
note that the B-Cure Laser Sport works well for both pain relief and strengthening the immune system.

Never aim the laser device at the eyes, and never treat areas near the eyes!
Soft laser does not harm or heat up body tissues, even when operated for longer times than recommended.
B-Cure Laser Sport can also be used to treat children and disabled persons with prosthetic limbs, or with shrapnel in
their bodies.
10. Device cleaning
Clean the pressure switch area, No. 5, using a 70% alcohol solution.
Be sure to keep the pressure switch area down while cleaning to prevent wetting the lens.

Part B: The healing properties of Soft Laser - LLLT
2. B-Cure Laser
1. What is Soft Laser LLLT - Low Level Laser Therapy
B-Cure Laser
Therapy with soft laser LLLT refers to the use of low-intensity laser light in the range of 1-1000mW, in a wave range
of 632-904nM for stimulating natural and beneficial biological reactions in the body.
Thanks to its exclusive development, with patent pending, this exceptional exclusive combination has become
possible: Maintaining the laser beam power and coherence over a 4.5-square cm area, together with technical
miniaturization to fit a portable, hand-held and rechargeable device that is lightweight and easy to operate, safe and
modestly priced.
Soft laser light is a compressed light with a wave length from an extremely narrow spectrum of electromagnetic
radiation. It is significantly different from natural light, as it has a single precise color; it is coherent (advances in a
straight line in a single phase), it is essentially monochromatic (a specific wave length) and polarized (waves oscillate
in a single direction). These characteristics enable the laser light to penetrate the surface of the skin without causing
heating and without harming the skin. The soft laser light is cold and non-invasive and therefore user-friendly.
Soft laser light conducts biostimulating energy to body cells, which transform it to natural chemical energy that
encourages natural rehabilitation and pain relief.
The term LLLT is commonly used today to distinguish between soft laser (therapeutic laser) and "hard laser" (lasers
used for surgery). LLLT lasers are commonly called soft lasers, or cold lasers, or low-level lasers.
- Your personal physiotherapist
was selected by the Israeli Olympic Committee, with the backing of the medical
team, as the official device for the treatment of Israeli Olympic athletes’ sports injuries.
B-Cure Laser Sport generates a fully coherent laser beam of 808nM wavelength, with 250mW peak-power pulses
- these power and precision levels that allow effective penetration of the laser beam into the tissue have so far only
been possible using stationary and expensive instruments.
The result - a perfect combination of a therapeutic efficiency that equals that of the largest and most expensive
instruments operated only at hospitals and clinics, and the ability to offer an immediate and continuous treatment,
and thus allow high-quality and faster recovery, with shorter treatment times.
B-Cure Laser Sport treats pain, while at the same time helps solve the medical problem!

3. How does B-Cure Laser
B-Cure Laser Sport gives athletes and sportsmen-amateurs as well as professionals, something they appreciate
the most, the ability to go on with their practicing routine and competitions. B-Cure Laser Sport cuts healing
times significantly and allows athletes to maximize their true potential and gives administrators, team doctors and
physiotherapists peace of mind and confidence.
B-Cure Laser Sport is an Israeli patent developed by the Erika Carmel Ltd company which created a global
breakthrough in laser technology, based on the device's unique electro-optic mechanism. The soft laser treatment
stimulates the body's natural healing mechanisms both on a cellular level and a systemic level. When the laser
light is absorbed by the body, several chain reactions are triggered: blood flow circulation and cellular activity are
stimulated, and inter-cellular communication is improved.
The result: Reducing pain and inflammation while helping solve the medical problem, and therefore offering a
solution for acute and chronic sports injuries, while allowing treated athletes to carry the device around in their bags
and treat themselves at home or elsewhere.
