Step 1 : LOCATE THE PROVIDED CAT‐5 NETWORK CABLE (WITH WEATHER‐PROOF PLUG)
Step 2 : Open the bo om panel of the ENGENIUS access point to reveal the two ports.
NOT USED
Please, do not reset
the unit by pressing
the reset switch.
Step 3 : Plug in the provided cat‐5 network cable to the Engenius PoE Port (pictured above) using the
RJ45 plug end.
Step 4 : Plug the weatherproof end to the SIGN

Step 5: Power on your LED DISPLAY
Step 6: Wait for a few minutes, and verify that the Engenius back panel displays A solid PWR light as
well as the (right hand side) LAN indicator.
Step 7: Locate the Etekcity USB antenna (bunny Ears) and assemble the 2 included antennas.
Step 8: Connect the Etekcity to an available USB port on your computer. (windows only) For windows
7,8, and 10, there is no driver needed. (If using this device on an older computer please look for the
“INSTALL DRIVER ONLY” applica on inside the “Wi‐Fi USB dual antenna Driver” folder in the CD
provided (NOTE: Please do‐not install the u lity included with the driver)
Step 9: Check to see what network connec ons are available on your computer.

‐Right click on the Wireless Network Connec on 802.11n USB Wireless Lan Card
‐Click on Proper es
‐Scroll down and double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/ipv4)Proper es
‐Select the op on “USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS”
‐Input the following Values :
IP Address: 192.168.1.80
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
‐Click ok to exit and save the changes
‐Click ok again to exit the Proper es Page

Step 11: Locate the Wireless Network Connec on status icon on the right corner of the Windows
Task Bar, and click it

WINDOWS 7 (connected to lan)
‐ Find “ACCESS‐EGN” and connect to it.
‐Once asked for the password, type the
following : LEDSIGNS
‐When successfully connected, you will see a “Connec on Unsuccessful— Limited Access ” prompt
come up.
This is normal, as we are connec ng to a sign that is not providing access to the internet.
