TIG Champ Brush
TC101
• The TIG CHAMP BRUSH DC Plus has a unique high power positive current
with a fluctuating wave which is the underpinning technology that makes the TIG
CHAMP Brush DC Plus extremely fast
• This unique DC wave form not only improves the speed of weld cleaning
but the DC current delivers a more corrosion resistant and reflective finish and
reduces the weld contamination risk of an AC current
used on other electrochemical machines
• Furthermore the TIG CHAMP BRUSH DC
can deliver more amperes
on it’s DC current
• The TIG CHAMP BRUSH DC Plus has
larger and more fibre dense brushes
which also improve speed and
importantly reduces micro pitting
problems that AC current and
increased wattage can create

CIGWELD introduces the SLICE Cutting System manufactured by ARCAIR.
Unlike any other cutting technology used today, the new Arcair SLICE Cutting
System can cut, burn or pierce virtually any metallic, non-metallic or composite
material. Cuts right through hard-to-cut materials, such as mild stainless and
alloy steels, cast iron aluminium, magnesium, other non-ferrous metals, slag and
refractory materials. Can punch through concrete or brick, even if it’s caked with
rust, mud or other corrosion. You can cut through nearly anything with the SLICE
System. The SLICE system uses a special Arcair torch that feeds oxygen and
electrical power to a patented SLICE exothermic cutting rod. You supply oxygen
and/or 12V battery or a welding machine (CC). The battery gives you fast ignition
and portability. The welding machine lets you maintain a continuous arc (up to
200amp) with conductive materials for cutting temperatures over 5,500°C
• Cuts through almost anything
• No pre-heating required
• Protective hand guard and spark arrestor built in
• Up to 3 times faster than OXY fuel
• Lightweight – complete SLICE plant only 14kg
• Comfortable and easy to use
• Portable – comes with toolbox
Slice Cutting System Plant Includes:
SLICE battery pack 240 VAC/50Hz, 7mm cutting rods (Qty. 25), literature pack,
tool box, striker assembly, torch assembly, collet extension assembly extension
shield, oxygen hose (3m), charging cable, 240 VAC/50Hz (3m) coupling,
instruction manual.
Note: The SLICE torch comes

Welding – Thermic Lancing Equipment
Thermic Lancing
Thermic Lances
No noise. No shudder. No fuss. Unlike noisy pneumatic hammers, drills and
electric tools, thermic lancing is quiet and vibration-free. As a result, it can be
used close to noise sensitive areas such as libraries, hospitals, law courts,
etc. Fast, quiet and versatile, ClGWELD thermic lancing is the most advanced
method of slicing through hard-to-clear materials, particularly reinforced
concrete. Ideal for demolition work, it takes only a fraction of time required
by other methods. Economical, portable and extremely easy to operate, the
CIGWELD thermic lance is the ultimate general purpose tool for all concrete.
The CIGWELD thermic lance makes short work of tough materials.
Silent, simple, fully portable, assured results on:
• Reinforced concrete
• Sandstone
Firebrick mixture
• Brick (coreheart)
• Mass concrete
• Railway bogies
• Glass
• Ship propellers
• Granite
• Steel piles and foundations
• Quartzite
• Piercing concrete
• Fused alumina
A Thermic Lance is a steel pipe packed with mixed metal wires. Pure oxygen
gas is passed through the pipe from an oxygen cylinder and regulator. The end
of the pipe is lit with a high temperature source, e.g. an oxy-acetylene torch.
The iron in the steel burns in the oxygen coming down the pipe to produce
enormous heat and a liquid slag of iron oxides and other materials, which
dribbles and splashes out.
• The temperature reached in the centre of the combustion zone is approx.
4,000°C, greater than the melting point of any substance on earth. By the
way of comparison, concrete melts at 1,800 – 2,500°C and steel at less
than 1,500°C.
A Thermic Lance is capable of cutting through :
• All ferrous and non-ferrous metals (recommended)
• Refractory materials such as linings and bricks (recommended)
• Underwater cutting of metal tracks, bridge supports (recommended)
• Concrete or rock structures (mainly for piercing holes only)

CIGWELD has a long established relationship with Koike Senso in Japan.
Koike has developed a world-wide reputation as a leading manufacturer
of gas cutting machines.
Much of this reputation stems from their ability to manufacture cutting nozzles
of the highest quality specifically for use with cutting machines, for example
Koike high speed cutting nozzles are of a divergent type with a stainless steel
insert screwed into the tip end of the cutting oxygen port.
This maintains a constant high quality cutting performance that also improves
nozzle life up to 5 times that of a conventional nozzle.

Hose – The Essential Link
Fitted Hoses & Hose Fittings
It is important to use the correct type of hose for the required gas(es) to
be used. Any non-standard application should always be checked by and
approved before being put into operation.
• Pressure drops will occur through hoses and hose fittings, therefore
allowances must be made to compensate for this when setting up
equipment and adjusting regulators
• 10mm bore hose should be used for large flow applications and where
long lengths of hose are to be used
• Colour coding of hoses and different threads for fuel and oxygen
prevents incorrect connections of hoses to the wrong gas type
• CIGWELD twin hoses help to keep the work area tidy, which reduces the
risk of hose damage
Specifications:
• Oxygen and acetylene hoses, conform to
Australian standard AS1335-1995
Features:
• All COMET hoses undergo stringent quality checks, ensuring
quality and compatibility with relevant COMET hose fittings
• Colour coding of hoses and different threads for fuel and oxygen
prevents incorrect connections of hoses to the wrong gas type
• COMET factory fitted hose assemblies are available in twin hose
configurations – This helps keep the work area tidy and reduces
the risk of damage
• Secure, specifically designed hose
fittings ensure operator safety
• Sold per metre
