If the robot is not to be used for a long time, fully charge the battery before use, turn the power off, remove and store it in a cool, dry place. e. If the robot is not to be used for more than 3 months, charge the robot for 12 hours, turn the power off, remove and store it in a cool, dry place. 8 Product Operation 2.Starting Up/ Standby/ Sleep/ Power Off A. Starting up a. Keep pressing the power switch at the right sideof the robot for more than 3 seconds. b. Press (2) on main body or ON/OFF on remote control to start cleaning. Note: If robot is in sleeping mode, press (2) on main body or ON/OFF on remote control to wake up the robot from sleep mode; then press €» again, the robot will start cleaning automatically. B. Standby Standby means robot has its power switched on, wait for the user's operation. It can be changed to standby mode by one of the following methods: a. During robot cleaning, press (2) on main body to enter standby mode. . During robot cleaning, press ON/OFF button on remote control to power off the robot. o C. Sleep In sleep mode, the robot can only be woken up from (a2=) button on main body or ON/OFF on remote control. In order to save power, you can turn the robot into sleep mode from standby mode via either of the following methods: a. Press @&~) on main body and hoid it for 3 seconds. . Robot will automatically enter sleep mode if no command is received for more than 60 seconds. o Product Operation 3.5cheduling You can schedule the robot and set it to start cleaning automatically at a certain time every day. Note: The robot can only be set when it is in Standby or Charging mode. If the robot is in sleep mode, press (a2x) on main body or ON/OFF button on remote control to wake up the robot. If the robot is in Cleaning mode, stop it before scheduling. Scheduling by the LED panel on robot A. Setting Robot Clock a. In standby or charging status, press ran to start the clock-setting. Auto cleaning In this mode, the robot will clean a room automatically and adjust its cleaning mode according to the environment. Note: Press ON/OFF on remote control or @&® on robot to start auto cleaning. 2). Spot cleaning Under the following situations, the robot will activate spot cleaning: a. When it detects a very dirty area. b. Pressing SPOT on remote control or on the robot. Note: It is suggested that the user select spot cleaning in a very dirty area. 3). Edge cleaning In cleaning mode, press MODE button to select mode 3 for edge cleaning. The robot will clean along the obstacles. 4). Zig-Zag Cleaning Robot will automatically goes into Zig-Zag cleaning when - it detected it's in an open area or the enviroment with less obstacles. y Note: Press MODE button on remote control to select cleaning mode: A. Mode No. 4444 shows on robot LED display: Zig-zag cleaning mode. 11 Product Operation Water Tank and Mopping Cloth Usage 1. Attaching mopping cloth Stick mopping cloth on the bottom of water tank as shown in fig 1. Make sure the sticking side and mopping cloth face the appropriate sides, and then stick the mopping cloth on its sticking side. 2. Fill water tank with water Take out rubber plug of water tank, fill it with water, and then put back the rubber plug tightly in position to prevent water leakage. 3. Fit water tank on the robot Turnover the robot, fix the water tank on the robot bottom. Make sure the bolts are firmly pressed into the fixing slots. If use water tank kit during cleaning, please check if water tank and its mopping cloth is used according to above instruction. Pay attention to well stick the mopping cloth, avoid friction betweem the cloth and robot wheel. b. Water tank kit can only be used on flat floor without any sharp object. c. Please don't clean carpet, wooden floor or dry only area by the cleaner with water tank. d. Please turn off UV light if use water tank kit during cleaning. 12 Product Operation Usage of Magnetic Strip 1. Function of Magnetic strip There is magnetic sensor inside the robot, when it detect there is magnet, robot will automatically change direction or turn back. The magnetic strip will let you decide where your robot can go and where it should "keep out" . During robot cleaning, easily stick the magnetic strip to fit doorways, around pet bowls, cords, or anywhere you don't want the robot to go. For example, stick the magnetic strip in front of the washing room, robot will not go into it. 2.How to use the magnetic strip Peel off the paper on back of the magnetic strip, stick the strip on floor. Please Kindly be noted to well clean the magnetic strip sticking area on the floor, just to ensure it sticks well. A. Take out the magnetic strip and put it flat on the floor. |Z | x 7 B. Peel off the paper on back of the magnetic strip. C. Stick magnetic strip where you need the robot to "keep out”. 13 Product Maintenance 1. Cleaning Side Brushes Clean the side brush when it gets dirty and replace it if it's damaged. Max life span for side brush is 12months. Note: Before replacing side brushes, check and make L/R mark on side brush match with the L/R mark on the bottom base of the robot . 2. Cleaning Dust Bin and Filters Empty and clean dust bin after each use following the steps as shown in the figures below: Press D. Open dust bin cover, take out primary filter. F. Wash dust bin and filter,clean the G. Install the primary filter and HEPA HEPA with brush. back into the dust bin. Note: a. Wash HEPA filter after used for 15~30 days. Max life span for HEPA and filter is 24 months. b. Reinstall the HEPA and primary filter after they are fully dry. c. HEPA and primary filter could be replaced if needed. d. Do not dry the filters under baking sunshine. 14 Product Maintenance 3. Cleaning Sensors and Wheels Slightly wipe all the sensors and wheels, as marked in figure below, with soft cleaning cloth or tool. 4. Cleaning Charging Poles Clean the charging poles, as marked in the figure below, with soft cleaning cloth or tool. 5. Clean Suction Passage and Dust Sensor Clean the suction passage and dust sensor, as marked in figure below, with soft cleaning cloth or tool.
