Before fitting a Fuse, it is important to establish that the patient is a suitable candidate for this type of hearing instrument. Please see the instructions in the Complete Guide to Fuse.
Domes should never be fit on patients with perforated eardrums, exposed middle ear cavities, or surgically altered ear canals. In the case of such a condition, we recommend use of a customized ear mold.
