9500 Routers. The 9500 Routers are easy to
install and configure and provide the flexibility
and scalability to support a wide range of
internetworking access needs. Dual WAN
ports offer flexible connectivity that allows
you to easily migrate to faster services and
also provide resilient WAN connectivity.
Migrate from ISDN BRI to a faster serial
interface based service as your network
demands increase. If you use a serial interface
based WAN connection, use ISDN BRI as
backup WAN connection to ensure your regional office is always connected. Dual LAN port
models facilitate De-Militarized Zones (DMZ) and Extranet applications with maximum security.
Powerful Intel® Device View software for Windows* and Web is provided with every router
to make set up and management simple and easy. Intuitive configuration wizards allow you
to setup the router in the most common configuration scenarios in a few simple steps.
Express 9500 Routers that are connected to a Frame Relay or ISDN network can be set up
remotely once the LAN and WAN cables are connected. Extensive diagnostic and
troubleshooting tools are included along with traffic analysis and SNMP monitoring support.
The Intel Express 9500 Routers reduce WAN costs through comprehensive cost control
features, including hardware-based compression at up to 2Mbps per WAN port for
maximum data throughput. This series of routers also includes ISDN cost control
mechanisms, including AO/DI, D-channel Callback, PPP Callback, and timer profiles.
For simple internet access Intel Express 9500 Routers support Network Address Translation
(NAT), including Single IP and Dynamic IP. An Integrated DHCP server allows the Express
9500 router to automatically assign an IP address to PC workstations or servers on the network.
The Intel Express 9500 Routers are an easy-to-use, flexible family of routers that allow
connecting branch offices and regional sites at a minimal purchase and operation price.
