WARRANTY POLICY_ENGLISH VERSION 2012
WARRANTY POLICY
This warranty only applies to Electrolux’s appliances purchased and used in Vietnam
“Electrolux” means Electrolux Vietnam in respects of appliances purchased and used in Vietnam
1. Small household appliances (such as bread toaster, coffee maker, water kettle, blender, oven
toaster, juice extractor, induction cooker, steam iron, dry iron, tankless water heater …) are
warranted for 12 months from date of purchase against defects in material.
2. Other appliances are warranted for 24 months from date of purchase against defects in
material
3. The compressor of air-conditioner is warranted for 36 months. Heater of tankless water heater
and Aura storage water heater is warranted for 60 months. Tank of storage water heaters is
warranted for 60 months
4. During warranty period, any Electrolux product that, upon inspection by Electrolux or its
Authorized Service Centre and subject to these terms and conditions, is proved defective due
to faulty or defective parts, will be repaired without charge to the customer
5. Within 10 days from the date of purchase, the customer reserves the right to request for an
exchange if the defect claimed due to faulty or defective parts, under normal conditions of use
and with investigation of Electrolux technicians
6. If the appliance is used for commercial purposes, not for personal or household purposes, the
warranty period will be 6 months following the date of original purchase of the appliance

For small household appliances (including microwaves and vacuum cleaners), the warranty
is exclusive of transportation service to the service center. Customer should take the machine
to nearest Electrolux authorized service center or pay for the transportation fee if require for
onsite pick up
8. This warranty does not cover the defects /damages due to:
•
Incomplete or improper installation
•
Incorrect, improper or inappropriate operation or failure to follow Electrolux’s instructions
•
The appliance is damaged by accident, misuse or abuse, including failure to properly maintain
or service
•
Insect or vermin infestation (mouse, cockroach, ant, knot, etc...)
•
Damage or loss incurred due to dropping or in transportation of the product
•
The warranty does not cover replacement or repair necessitated by loss or damage from any
cause beyond the control of Electrolux, such as lightning or other natural and weather related
events or wartime environments.
•
The product was damaged due to corruption or lost spare parts which has mechanical/ kinetic
and made of paper, plastic, metal, rubber, coal, glass, etc…(ex: refrigerator tray and prop,
dust bag, active coal, kinds of filter part, microwave glass tray) or exterior forms such as
flattened, twisted, scratched, smeared, dirty, rusted, etc…
•
Power surges, electrical storm damage, incorrect power supply, or the electric power swings
over the possible faculty: 220V± 10V
•
The appliance is modified without authority from Electrolux
•
The appliance was serviced or repaired by anyone other than Electrolux or its Authorised
Service Centres
•
Damaged because the user using cleaner in order to absorb printer’s ink, billiards powder,
kinds of floor, dust from building materials (ex: cement, paint dust, etc…), re-use the dust bag
or use the dust bag not yet suitable or incorrect with the product, do not frequently clean the
product.
•
Warranty void if removed label of manufacturers, or serial number has been altered, defaced
9. After this warranty period, there will be a charge for any repair that is provided by Electrolux
authorized service center
Important Notes:
In order for the product to be officially warranted, please fill in the information in this warranty card and
send to Electrolux Vietnam Customer Service Center
Customers can also register product online at http://www.electrolux.vn/
In case there is no warranty card, or no product registered online, warranty coverage will be effective
from the date of delivery from Electrolux Vietnam’s warehouse
Electrolux Vietnam Customer Service Center:
If the service is requested in the morning before 12:00 AM, the visit will be in the afternoon within the
day
If the service is requested in Saturday afternoon and Sunday, the visit will be in the following Monday
Working hour of Customer Service Center:
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
