Introduction:
Special designed to locate the camshaft in TDC
position.
Checking and adjusting the timing chain

Instruction:
2. Positioning special tool (A) on the intake
Adjust Right Camshaft Valve Timing
1. Prepare special tools part: (A) and (B) for fix
camshaft. Use special tool (A) to position exhaust
camshaft and fixed it on the special tool (A).

3. Loosen the center bolt (2 and 3) of the intake

5. Install the center bolt (2 and 3).
Loosen the center bolt (2 and 3) to its maximum
40°.

10. Continue rotate the engine on the center bolt

until the special tool (E) is positioned on the
timing gear box cover.
Engine now will positioned 150° to the cylinder 1
ignition point.

14. Use the torque to tighten the intake camshaft
center bolt (2) till it reaches 30 Nm.

11. Use Torsion Angle Iron Regulation (with clip)
to set the exhausted camshaft center bolt (3)
bearing to 90°.

15. Use removal tool (D) and (E)
Rotate the center bolt twice along the engine
direction of rotation, until the engine is positioned at
150° to the cylinder B ignition point.
Use special tool (D) and (E) to fix the shock absorber

different, and might be confused.
If the devices are installed incorrect, it may cause
damage to the engine.
-Intake device showed “EIN” on it.
-Exhaust device showed “AUS” on it.

7. Remove the intake device (2) from the timing
chain (5). Move upward to remove the intake
device. (2)

11. Installation: Coat the bolt contact surface (3)
with copper paint.

camshaft along the direction of the arrow.

and install the device onto the camshaft.

device without gaps.

chain (5). Move upward to remove the exhaust

18. Remove the special tool (E)
Caution: Reversely rotate the engine center bolt
for 45°.

Rotate the center crankshaft toward the engine until
special tool (D) is tightened with special tool (E).

25. Use torque to tighten the intake camshaft center
bolt (2) till it reaches 30 Nm.

cover. Now the engine should be positioned 150°
