Compact TDMoIP Multiplexer
IPMX-400
*IPMX-400 offers a cost-effective and highly integrated solution for TDM Interfaces over Ethernet or IP network for
IP Fiber Optical Multiplexer (FOM) applications.
*TDMoIP or CESoE(Circuit Emulation Service over Ethernet) are used to transport E1 or T1 signals transparently
over Ethernet or IP network. Each E1 or T1 signal from the TDM ports is encapsulated into a configurable
sized Ethernet frames or IP packets for transmission over the Ethernet port to IP networks.
*End-to-end synchronization for voice or Nx64K applications, because when signaling information is preserved,
it allows the legacy phone equipment, modem, fax, data equipment and PBX to be connected transparently to
Ethernet or IP network.
Features:
4 x E1/T1
 Enables E1 or T1 signal extension over the Ethernet or IP network.
 Multiplexes up to 4 E1 or T1 signals in an unframed structure.
 Provides two Copper UTP Ethernet (10/100BASE TX) ports (one port is for uplink when
there is no optical port and the other port is for user data port).
 Provides one Optical Ethernet (100BASE FX) port for uplink (option).
 Provides Jitter Buffer to compensate for delay variations for each E1 or T1 signal.
 Provides Pseudo-Random pattern (PRBS) generator and detector for easy field test

IPMX-1600
For IPMX-1600, CESoE or TDMoIP are used to transport TDM (E1/T1/E3/T3) or V.35 signals transparently
over Ethernet or IP network. Each of the tributary E1/T1/E3/T3 signal from the TDM ports or V.35 signals is encapsulated
into configurable sized Ethernet frames or IP packets for transmission over the uplink fast Ethernet port.
IPMX-1600 provides up to 16 E1 or T1 ports, 2 E3 ports, 1 T3 port, 4 V.35 ports, 4 Ethernet ports
(one of the Ethernet port is used for uplink Interface, the other Ethernet ports for user data ports).
