surfing. To guarantee seamless integration with your wireless network, the HD45X is compatible with all Hawking Hi-Gain Dual Band
Wireless Antennas.
With the HD45X connected to your laptop, the network signal is magnified by the range extender. Acting like a wireless relay, it will
expand your wireless range up to 2x stronger. It will strengthen the previously weak wireless signal and maximize your networks data
transfer rate. This provides a stronger and more solid wireless connection to improve overall uploading and downloading speed. As a
result, the user experiences faster speeds and less data lag while streaming or downloading multimedia content (video, music, etc.).
Dual Band
2.4GHz is the most commonly used wireless bandwidth. It also has a very narrow range of channels, usually between 1-11. Common
household devices such as microwaves and cordless phones also use the 2.4GHz bandwidth, and can cause interference with your
wireless network. As a result of its heavy usage and narrow range of channels, the speed and range of typical WiFi devices can be
negatively affected.
5GHz solves this problem by providing a faster, less congested, bandwidth with a wider range of available channels.
Ease of Use
Simply connect to the HD45X wirelessly, open your web browser and type in the setup page for the device to configure. Installation
can be done in less than 3 minutes.
