DXP4

Remote Workstation Graphics Card

The Amulet Hotkey DXP4 is a quad-display, remote workstation graphics card that combines two cards into the space of one:

Professional Graphics and PCoIP Remote Workstation.

The DXP4 enables high-performance and secure remote access for any PC or workstation that has an available PCIe slot.

Whether enabling remote access for a desk-side workstation, or centralizing the workstation in a secure datacenter, the DXP4 supports flexible workstyles. Working from home, on the road, or securely accessing global talent.

Professionals can connect to their workstation using an Amulet Hotkey zero client or mobile device from across the office, country, or from continent-to-continent.

To support a range of workstation users and applications, the DXP4 provides professional graphics options including NVIDIA Quadro and AMD FirePro GPUs.

Combined with the Teradici Tera2 PCoIP processor, this delivers an exceptional experience for the most demanding users.

Benefits of the DXP4:

ƒ Flexibility: supporting flexible workflows and mobile workstyles

ƒ Unique security: including a separate protocol-only port for workstation access, hardware USB lockdown and NSA Suite B ciphers.

ƒ Enhanced productivity: ensures that datasets stay within the datacenter to boost application performance and avoid the use of old data across teams.

ƒ Zero loading: no load on the CPU or GPU for remote display protocol encoding

ƒ Octal+ displays: use multiple DXP4 cards to support 8-display configurations.

ƒ Save PCIe slots: combining two PCIe cards into one allows for more cards.

DXP4 and DXP4-M

The DXP4 model has an RJ45 network port. The DXP4-M accepts a copper or fiber SFP module.

An optional network extender card is available to provide external network access when the DXP4 card is installed in an internal-only PCIe slot.

Example quad head PCoIP system

A DXP4 card (1) on a host PC or server connects over a WAN (2) to a remote Amulet Hotkey zero client (3). At the desktop, the zero client decodes data sent from the DXP4 host and delivers it to the monitors and peripherals.

How does PCoIP work?

PCoIP compresses and securely encrypts the entire computing experience on a host PC. As the PCoIP host transmits ‘pixels only’ data across a standard IP network, actual data never leaves the host PC. PCoIP adapts to network conditions to minimize bandwidth, providing lossless, real time performance free from compromises.
